Well my irrigation stuff showed up from amazon, sometimes you buy stuff and it shows up and its just not what your expecting.

These 3 manifolds i bought actually made me giggle, ill post a pic in a bit, but they are so small, like the size of a 3/4" hose small lol. I cant wait to see these things in action, i dont have high hopes

On way back to amazon now to order the orbits that @gr865 is using. No faith in these little things they sent me at all .
They have worked for me and I will continue to use them. Hope they work for you buddy!

i officially dislike panda film

way too many wrinkles to suit my ocdish personality. I knew when i seen how it was folded numerous times i wasnt gonna like it.

May live with it for the short term, but def gonna go with mold resistant drywall and paint , not sure if right away or not. I dont want to fkn plaster lol

I really dislike this panda film tho. 1 or 2 folds i could understand, this stuff from vivosun was folded way too many times.

Be easier to drywall before you get all setup.
Fuck man, I know lol
Ugh

If I leave the panda film up it won't be short term, be too much of a pain in the ass to do it afterwards like you said.

Plastering is the bane of my existence lol

Normal drywall fine? Or should I buy the mold and fire resistant stuff?

I would use the mold resistant drywall, no need for the fire rating IMO. I would drywall over the poly so you have a vapor barrier. I didn't do a great job of plastering in my rooms, I didn't even sand it lol. Just filled the cracks and screw holes and painted.

Well I already have 1.5 boxes of plaster and almost full 5g bucket of primer.

Only need drywall and white paint.

Man I started setting everything up earlier thinking I'd be done tomorrow, then the panda film happened, now I'm a week away again lol

My plaster will be a quick job. Screw heads and middle seams. Il caulk the fkn corners lol

Given the choice. I'll take the painted walls any day!
So much easier to maintain.

I think I got this stuff at Rona, it makes doing inside corners a lot easier. (It’s plastic with a texture)
I like old fashioned metal for outsides.

Thankfully I don't have any outsides to do in this room. Agreed tho, I still prefer those metals for outsides if I'm doing them.

As for insides, they getting white duct tape. Not even fkn with them at all lol

Did I mention I hate plastering? Lol

I used acoustic sealant all around the parimeter to seal the poly . Gonna be a late night, work early in the am, hopefully be ready for primer by tomorrow night.

Hey, what kind of vent/cover do i need for the intake fan, for outside my house?

Only ones i seen today were for pusing air out with the spring loaded flap. Otherwise i seen one that just had an open hole with some mesh grating over it.

edit: intake fan correction

My intakes are just a dust shroom. Not sure how they hold up to UV light and such as mine are in basement window wells and protected somewhat as they are shaded on the north side.

If you wanna have a sheet metal cover fabbed up to go over the dust shroom and protect the top and sides that would be tight. Someone with a sheet metal brake and spot welder can whip something up out of galvanized pretty easy.

well another thing is, its on a very visible exterior wall, so ideally id like to find something like the spring loaded one i have for my exhaust , but obv in reverse lol

Maybe i could use the cheapo one with the grate over it, cover the hole with some dust stopping shit and use a dust shroom on the inside? is that even possible? lol

Ok maybe this might work. My buddy runs a metal shop, so i can easily get something made i guess.

Never considered covering the dustshroom. Not overly familiar with them, so wasnt thinking about that option
