Septoria Solution

I have a problem with Leaf Septoria that has been raging mildly for few years outdoor ,but this year it went apeshit with record rainfall. I am using a permaculture approach in mounds and beds. I am curious if doing a controlled burn over the growing area in fall will possibly remedy the issue for future. Does anyone have any input or experience trying this? I really cannot think of another way to rid the area of it and continue using the area in near future.

Worth a try! Septoria is especially bad here in OKlahoma as well. This is my third year of specifically trying to grow septoria resistant cannabis and I have 1 plant that is very resistant. Here you can see it on the left, touching a septoria infested plant on the right. I have been spraying since before spotting in early June, both sulfur and then Cease, doesn't seem to be doing much. I don't spray the resistant plant now. I will pollinate the resistant plant and then grow those seeds next summer. I think finding genetics that do well in your environment is the key to outdoor success.

I've spent 6 years working on this problem! Burning the area is not an option for me.

I really should have sprayed this year as well, the beginning of July it always gets crazy.

Some people say copper works but I won't spray that. This is the worst year I have seen! Hoping this heat hits and the rain stays away.
It's the worst i have seen, plants i have been breeding for some years that had always dealt with it better than others are having issues this year. Like you, i always try and breed the more resistant ones. The hardest hit by far are the Hopar landraces from Pakistan, they have gotten utterly annihilated, had probs with them last year as well, but nothing like this
