Water until there is runoff. Allow the medium to completely dry and then water again until runoff. Remember the weight of the pots when they are fully soaked and fully dry so you know when to water. They sell moisture meters at lowe's and home depot
Ok that is what we did the first time and we didnt see water right away so watered more and more...pretty much a noob mistake, Ill make sure to never do that again. that soil has great drainage to it! Thats a good idea guess Ill be adding the weights of the pots to my note book I keep. Or should I say my boy keeps. :blsmoke:

Just added a month old Mendo purps plant. :hump:She is bushy as hell for this stage of life. I am just going to veg her till the sensi stars get going since I have now put them on a good feeding schedule thanks to Tom and Cheech. I hear Mendo Purps likes a lot of nutes anyone know anything about the strain. more about growing really??

I should have some pics tomorrow night of the entire set-up hopefully the lights come in! Everyone keep your fingers crossed

good luck with everything Lonely! Im sure you will have a killer harvest, you seem to be doing your homework. yeah, I used a lot of nutes and they ate them up. I did start out with 1/4 strength and worked my way up. I also used a carbon filter like Tom suggested, they got real stinky. anyway, lots of luck to you

I am all about doing my hw! If I can figure out things for my self while growing that would be tight. Just seems like there is so much that I have not encountered yet like pests or mold. Guess I will just keep reading and keep talking to you and people like you that have a lot more experience. Thanks though....if its cool I might stalk you as my babies get a lil older just for advice

I am currently re-veging a bad ass sensistar plant. she flowered for 11 weeks. tons of crystals. nutrients: sensigrow and sensibloom from advanced, koolbloom liqiud, and powder during different stages of bloom, bannana manna, hygrozyme, liquid karma, cal-mag, bud candy, superthrive, vemi-tea, humic acid, and root66

I have a thread showing the re-veg, you could probably find it in my profile, i just don't know how to post the link...
I'll show you some pics later tonight..

No problem Lonely, anything I can help with Id be happy to... Im still a novice myself only having a little over a year under my belt but I learned a lot on this site. one thing I did run into my second crop, not the sensi stars, was a little bit of bud rot in the main cola of one huge Mikado plant. So, remember to have lots of fans blowing the air around. I noticed this happened when i had one plant finishing up, I turned off some of the extra little osillating(sp?) fans and thats when i got it.... so, lots of air movement is super important. Havent had any pests, thankfully...... Im psyched to open my Nebula and Black Domina seed packs for next crop, should be starting right around mid-November when my OG Kush and MK Ultras finish....Again, lots of luck to you brother. peace

Thanks for that bit of info about the fans Ill make sure to have atleast one maybe even two. Let me know if you do open a thread for those black domina seeds. I didnt really like the strain myself but could tell that it was always a lil premature so I wanna know what the real deal looks like!!

Happy Growings!! :blsmoke:

Damn they look good where they grown from clones or you get the seeds from paradise seeds? The yield looks decent and how big of a containers did you grow them in. how was the high?
i veged for 3 weeks in a 6" square black pot
read the thread... the plant is special

grown from seed.. a seed that came out of a nug that was gifted to me by someone i didn't really know. as i was breaking up the nug, the seed fell down on the table. i tried to contain my excitement because i was with people who didn't know i am a grower.

i can't wait to grow out the seeds i created with this plant..

Is it true that sensi star is leafy as shit but other than that i would grow it....
From everything I have seen not its not leafy at all. I can say the the trichs' are off the charts though, so much resin.
You wanna see a bushy plant Ill post a pic of the month old mendo purps plant I just acquired

Cheech when you say you worked your way did you end up just feeding at full power? Another question did you mix nutes within the same water. ex- 1/4 tiger bloom+1/4 grow big+ 1gal water???

Oh and those questions are for anyone that wants to answer them. I can use all the advice I can get my eyes on!

thanks again RIU great community here.

usually (unless you live right on the ocean) you'll need to keep your nute levels at about half of what the manufacturer recommends. I use my "sensi" products at between 5 and 6 mil(of both part A and part B) per gallon (which combined is about 1000ppm) through all stages of growth. that gives me room to add all of my other supplements and enhancers without having to worry about too much of anything.

Not leafy as shit at all...... well, she throws out TONS of sun leaves! :).... but that is a good thing.... and they aren't stuck in the buds by any means:)...... smells mmmmm mmmm good (there is a description of the smell in my 09 outdoor jrnl)..... she takes nutes just fine! Above normal recommendations especially on a constant feed schedule or slow build schedule, up to 1400 ppm spread..... Indeed....one of my permanent staple strains :)

she was my tie for first pic last year out of about 12 strains, Sour Diesel included...... 2.3 pounds from indoor under 1000W HPS

Sensi Star ;)

Watch out..... buds weigh down branches till they bend all the way down.... very flexible ladies, but I give em supports ;)

This plant fell apart before I got her supports in.... she came down a lil early (47 days in flower, flushed for five days)...... 57-67 days flowering depending on method nutes and climate

Hey Lonely! Yes, I fed them at full strength according to the chart that they came with. I mixed all my nutes in same water. They really ate it up. I also gave them mollassass. I did not use mollassas over the summer cuz i was scared it would attract insects... I dont know if the lack of mollassass or my high temps were the cause for my low yields over the summer, but Im feedingmy girls mollassass now and they are looking great. I dont know if the mollassass is a wives tale or what but it sure doesnt seem to hurt them. I also had my temps in low to mid-70s when I did the sensi stars... they really thrived
