Do you believe that a child can consent to sex?
Define child please.

Are you talking about a persons physical development, mental development or chronological age ?

Also, define consent please.

Having a mutually agreed to definition for terms should help our conversation proceed politely. I look forward to your reply.

Because when children get molested they often pass it onto other children
Actually in my case I think it was hormonal.

Were you taught to take a steaming dump on a bathroom floor by Grand Pappy Poopy Pants or did you think you'd start a family tradition on your own? Just curious.

Nope? That's it ?

Let's do it then, I guess.

A child is defined as a young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majority.

Consent is defined as permission for something to happen or agreement to do something.

Do you contest any of these statements as nonfactual?

Not bad.

I'd add some clarity though, "permission" is a flexible term.

Would you agree that permission is individual and is usually attached to the person involved and not given or withheld by one party for another party ?

Disagree. A minor is not of sound mind to permiss any transactions between themselves with adults or otherwise.

So, if the age of majority (the thing that makes a person legally a minor) in one locale is a higher number it means that a person moving from plantation A where the age is 18 to plantation B where the age is 19, suddenly lose their wherewithal to form consent ?

Is that magic?

I feel like your opinion is made in bad faith.

The law recognizes that children are developmentally not able to make decisions about some things, including when to engage in sexual behaviors. Laws vary by state, but a common age of consent is 16. Engaging in sexual behaviors with someone under the age of consent is illegal and will be treated as criminal sexual conduct.

We agree that sexually violating a child is a criminal act, correct?

Obsessed with plantations again?
