Wow.. I might just need to reveg my SSH plant just enough to claim some clones. Why do you say the Bubblegum x Blueberry isnt going to be stable? Arent both of those 2 strands mother's good genetics?

Actually you are right about the hermis but these are Feminized because these were completely female with no male flowers for 6 weeks then they were light stressed and they put out male flowers that only contain female genetics. They were then allowed to go another 5 weeks which is 3 weeks passed their normal harvest time. This in itself is enough to cause some strains to do this but the seeds don't have time to mature unless you put the pollen on some younger females. They need 3-4 weeks to make mature seeds. I was fortunate enough to have them do it early due to light stress I believe. Big seed companies use different methods to stress them but this is how they produce feminized seeds and why only certain strains are offered. If they pollenate themselves they are the same as a clone. If they pollenate one of the others (since I started from seed) then they are a cross of the two. Watch and you will see.;-)

so im assuming that this post would be the answer to question i haven't asked you yet Double. Very nice grow by the ways +rep for you good sir!!! Amazing work you have done so far, keep it up man:hug:.

My question was going to ask you? how can a feminized plant produce another feminized seed or seeds since their isn't any male flower pollen present to even induce such a female plant to be pollinated, its really bugging me i can not go on with out not knowing? But i think i found the answer with your post that i quoted.

I'm grabbing a seat for your grow.

Thanks bro

Hi there Double, nice journal, gorgeous plants and buds. It appears that I can learn a great deal from you. I'm not having any luck growing some lowryder 2 plants, got lots of males, I think. I'm trying different hydro systems. Seeing yours with soil makes it tempting to try some soil. I'll definitely keep my eye on this thread. Thanks.:peace:

how do you re-veg. is there a tut on here or can you tell me?
Just harvest the buds except the very bottom ones. Leave a coulple about the size of your thumb and put them back under 24 hours of light. Water as you would for any vegging plant. Wait about 3 or 4 weeks and you should start seeing new growth. If you skimp on how much you leave it might not make it so be safe and don't skrimp.:peace:

The reason I say that is this. They are two unrelated strains so their offspring are going to be a mixture of the two. If they were the same strain there would be enough similarities to look, taste, smell, etc. much alike. These will vary between the two. One is short, stocky, and dense heavy buds. The other is stretchy, tall, and light fluffy buds. So you will see many combinations. I will pick out the ones that are shorter, stockier, and denser and then breed the ones with the high, smell, and flavor I am looking for and then if I can feminize one I will pollenate another and after a few times of doing that I will have my own stable strain.:hump:

Thanks bro[/quote]

Thank you bro. Glad to have you.
The reason is that they ONLY have female DNA so they are equiped by God (because He knows we need our pot) to pollenate themselves if they go too long and aren't pollenated so that a bigger patch of females would grow up in the area and eventually a male would succede and then you wuld get a big patch of both male and female and save the last pot plant in the world. LOL:joint:

Wannabee soil is the most forgiving that is for sure. I am going to get a hydro grow going this year. The best one out there is found here. It will take you a month to read the whole thing but if you make it though the first 100 pages you will be good. I have been reading it from the beginning and follow it every day. People are great here.

You use your veg light and veg nutes. If you usually us 18/6 for veg you could do that but it will take longer. 24 hours a day until they begin to grow leaves and stems from the old bud you left on. When it gets big enough you can put it back into bloom under 12/12 or takes clones and veg them until you put all of the clones in 12/12. Hope that helps bro.:blsmoke:

I installed a second A/C and it will freeze you out in there and the air really moves. I have made quite a few forward strides in our quest to find a "Super Strain"! I will update all pics and info tomorrow. Been very busy with the Global Marijuana March and all. Peace!

Looking forward to seeing how the new super strain turns out! Im looking into breeding an upcoming nirvana blackberry with a super silver haze of unknown genetics. My SSH and its mother are both giant bushy plants that offer great smoke!
