Hello there

its day 17 of my first indoor grow .

These babies are inside a closet which has 3 cfls and its kinda close to them...

its been 2 or 3 days since they started falling... the temperature inside the closet is in between 20 and 30 degrees celcius...

i water them almost everyday...some day i dont...

i have a mini fan i installed it but the air doesnt go directly into the plants because i did that once and i almost kill one plant...

i used a few sticks to avoid this...

please check the pictures..

Can you use higher wattage cfl's?

Any better light like HID for example would require you to upgrade your ventilation.

I don't think that's enough light for them.. they look like they are streching for it and their stems aren't strong enough yet to support the weight yet...I had the same problem earlier in my grow. What I did was take a drinking straw and cut it into 3rds.. then took coated twist ties.. ones that are covered in plastic, not garbage bag ones.

I put it through the straw and bent the end up and wrapped it around the bottom above the level it was inserted into my rockwool.. the top you can see of the twist tie, and it actually held it really well as the fans helped it strengthen. I have a few still on but the plants are doing fine, I just haven't bothered taking them off yet... I just think it's better than propping them up.
