Seedling Tips Please

I am germinating 3 Northern Light female seeds using the paper towel method, on a heating pad. After I transplant the seeds how high should i start my lights over my seedlings? My lighting set up is 4 40w CFLs at 6500K and 4 40w CFLs at 2700K. These lights are in a 36x20x60 inch grow tent w/ reflective inside, a fan bringing in cold air at the bottom and a carbon filter and inline fan taking it out. I made a humidity dome for the seedlings with saran wrap and a small clear storage bin. I can keep the temp at 79 F and humidity at 80% inside the dome till the roots establish.

Any other do's and dont's are welcomed advice also, Thanks.

Don't need too many bulbs at first for seedlings...don't want it too hot on them. You will want to grow seedlings under LEDs, CFL’s or Dim HID lights until they show 2-3 sets of fan leaves. It’s important at this time they are kept moist. You will want to place planted seedlings under your grow lamp ensuring the lamp is no closer than 6 inches on a 16/8 vegetative light cycle. :peace:

I have the lights about a foot over the plants, and I run them all in order to keep the temp and humidity consistent as to what it will be during the entire grow. My light schedule is 24/0 and when should I start 1/4 strength nute feed? The plants are being started in peat pots.

I would recommend as soon as they have rooted and you have transplanted them. The reason you didn't give them nutes before is because you could only foliar feed. Now they have established roots and needs nutes via their roots system.
