Seedling not Growing

I sure hope so! lol. I just have to get up the nerve to switch her over to DWC.
Just be gentle... when i start in soil or coco i take the plant and run the roots under a not too cold/hot tap and gently massage the roots to clean off the soil before moving to dwc/hydroton.. good luck :)

BTW.. moving forward you might want to look at making a homemade bubble cloner.. i made my first one about a month ago, doesn't cost much and plants LOVE it.. i mean it's basically a tiny dwc setup.. but what's nice is the roots are just clean and no soil/coco before moving into full dwc.

Will look into it, for sure!

Well, my plans to use the DWC fell through. I opened up the unit to do a water change before adding the plant and the hose was covered in brown slime. This was all new stuff, black hose, water was sanitized with hydrogen Peroxide, no light leaks. Only thing I can figure is it's the temp in there. Just too hot. So, until I can work out those bugs, I'm going to soil grow this one. Wish me luck!

Usually hitting between 75-80. My last plant got as far as the flowering stage and then the slime killed it off before I knew what was going on. So..until I can buy some pool shock, I will just grow this one in soil.

Bleach works as good as pool shock.. i would hit my plant with bleach then flush it a hour or so later and do my normal water/nutes with peroxide for a few days. but yeah that's warm... i would go coco..

Couldn't find pool shock and, with the whole COVID thing, bleach and Peroxide are pretty much non-existent. So...I've moved her into soil. I still want to do the whole DWC thing (I'm a bit of a science guy and I love the science behind it)...I just will have to wait until this all blows over.

I'm sorry it didn't end up working out, but at least you've shown that you're practical, realistic, patient and determined. New growers who have and exercise these traits typically end up doing well with their grows.

Thanks, man. I'd still like to try DWC, in the future, once things go back to normal.
