having first hand in pi experience on both sides (i did it for a while) this is VERY real. especially if it gets messy or starts to be appealed, especially multiple times. but honestly just look out your window. any 99% its the oddball on the block.... i know who my neighbors are and over x amount of time you get subliminal tuned to their actions..... so typically the car thats been sitting a block away for 6 hours a day all week, thats your guy hahahhaha. but honestly pi's will go through every legal action to screw you over..... mostly just hacking emails to be honest. it starts by learning your daily schedule and seeing where to from there.....
just my opinion if it starts to be appealed (which often times the more wealthy partner will appeal till the other runs out of money) is when things enter the "no turning back" "all in" motive. when people get tired of fighting and try to win

I wouldn't jump the gun. It will likely take months before any kind of investigation would start if one did at all.

If she doesn't know your full name or where you live the cops aren't going to waste time looking for some small grower. Unless your buddy had his location turned on his phone then the location will be embedded in the EXIF file with the pictures. Can be pretty damn accurate.

Toss a coin.
get your friend to delete the picture, and see if he has exif turned on to begin with. there won't be any exif info on his old ladies phone, she took a pic of a pic

how much money does your friend have? more to the point, how much money does his soon to be ex wife have? PIs don't work for free, and cheap ones are a joke. unless she has money to spend, or has family that is willing to finance her, she ain't gonna hire anyone you need to worry about

My friend is well off. He has a high priced lawyer and funds to go rounds. Fucker makes more than me.

His ex is making $18/hr now, first job she’s had in a decade. So she doesn’t have that much $, and a PI is expensive. I know from looking into them from my wife’s custody battle. Aside from that she’s a broke ass. I seriously doubt she could afford one and even if she did investigating me would not help her win.

My friend is not associated in any way and I don’t sell so there is never traffic. Nothing goes in the garbage can everrrrrr. A good garbage disposal is a solid investment.

Would be a boring ass expensive steak out with no results and she’s be better spending her money to investigate him.

Your buddy needs to make requests for her personal criminal records. That will fix her up super fast if she's a shady character. Chances she's already been caught up since the separation. SOMETIMES people act out in times of stress like this and the law is there to record it. Courts move slow and they won't find out until later usually.

All the more reason for you and you friend to stay calm.

If you are concerned about a PI, or any outside investigation that might be coming from her. I would advise the following; meet with your friend in the grocery store or something causal and discussing a break in contact. That means NO CONTACT AT ALL. Make it look like you just "ran into each other" and discuss the stop of contact and get your story straight. Then, if you (or him) were ever questioned you would just say "yeah i ran into him but it was brief at the grocery store, but i haven't heard from him since."

Custody courts are concerned with the welfare of the child(s). If your friend(or children) hasn't had any contact with you, in a court of evidence, you ar'nt a threat. Then it comes down to factness accusations, and ONE picture. You buddy could have easily download from a rando on the Internet.

If they come do a welfare check on HIS house, they will find NO drug activity. If you buddy has been residing at your place that must stop NOW.

On a personal note, a family member went through a custody battle. She cried abuse, he said she had an alcohol problem. The court ordered an alcohol study, she passed then got 3 dui's a month later and into a fatal accident on her way to work. Things work out in strange ways.

The only evidence she has is a picture of a picture (attached) and my first name, no address.

She has never seen shit in person and has never been to my home. Also this chick is on drugs and is making up all kinds of stuff in my friends court documents I’ve read...

I’m still 50/50 with it because I have no money saved and am fucked bill wise if I take it down. More fucked IF something were to happen tho.
You don't know what she knows, You only know what your friend says she knows. Its amazing what people say to their wives and girlfriends

If your name is John or Mike... I'd roll with the punches

If you're the only Ezekiel in 100 miles o_O

Honestly, the court doesn't want to hear this shit. If the guy has been a good involved father and doesnt have a history of being a shitbird (I hope someone gets the reference), he should be fine.. 90% of the time the court is overloaded and has more work than time. If the woman cant say that she seen the shit with her own eyes she really cant say shit..

Good luck!

So my buddy is getting divorced and it’s getting messy.

He received papers about three weeks ago and apparently she took a picture of a picture on his phone of my garden. She is accusing him of being involved so she has a better chance of getting sole custody of her kids. No mention of names there. But then she goes on and says in a later part that he was buying pills from me (which isn’t true I don’t do pills). Just first name I don’t think she knows my last. And she doesn’t know where I live.

I’m 50/50 on ripping everything out of the ground right now.

Thoughts?
Broke rule #1 don’t get anyone involved in ur shit let alone take pictures of your shit . Any updates on the situation
