This is different. It is not tapping with a wiretap via national security letter or warrant, this is not CB radio snooping, this is not Patriot ACT related, this is an Encryption expert releasing the data security codes to thousands of computer hackers (good and bad alike) so you can listen EASILY listen to any of the 3bn affected phones from anywhere in the world.
Now, It just might be that the Patriot act just didnt cover enough, so the GOVERNMENT might use this "illegal" back door access to push it's own motives.
On top of that, Im willing to bet that the cost to fix this security flaw that should have been fixed 15 years ago will be passed along to consumers, no doubt.
Stop looking at things the way you have. The status quo is burning to the ground. Wake up and pay attention or youre going to be in a jail cell.
