Sup Ppl despite my nick name on here this is actually my 2nd grow....
My 1st grow was with cfls and didnt end well so i decided that buying a metal halide light was in order.

Ok so here we go....:D

I will be growing 6 cheese plants and two jack herer plants from seed that a friend gave me under a 400w metal halide light which i will swap for a HPS when i want to flower.

My grow area is 1m by 1m with quite a big fan blowing over the plants.....Im not sure if 400w can handle 8 plants but i will only be vegging for about 4 to 5 weeks and then induce flowering at which i will remove the males. Im hoping to have at least 4 females (cross your fingers:))

At the moment as you can see from the pics the plants are still little seedlings and i had a few probs germinating so thats why some will be bigger than others. My light is getting mounted in this week so as the grow continues i will update regulary:weed: I also will be adding sum reflective material from a near by hydro shop that supplies it.

Feel free to give constructive criticism as im not that experienced so any advice would be appreciated or heads up if im doing anything wrong.

HEAT! Below is a pic of one of my seedlings i think its the heat from the lighting getting to it....i now put sum of them under my cfls i hope they recover because i also had a problem transplanting and touching the roots could not be avoided....any1 know if they will recover in about a week and grow as per usual?

I had a VERY similar scare with my jock horror seed when I transplanted too early. If its anything like mine it will turn around in a couple of days. Make sure to keep it properly hydrated! Good luck man...ill be keeping an eye on your grow with hopes that things improve for your sick seedling.

Ok so sum updates....i now have the light raised 1 metre off the ground.....going to transplant two other seedlings into bigger pots. Two other seedlings have also sprouted and well im guessing they going to be the healthiest as they havent gone thru the shock of all the others.

BTW if anyone could look at this plant in the below picture and could tell me if it will grow roots or should i just cut the top two stems and make clones of them? currently the whole stem is in a little jar thing with wet cotton wool and the stem was dipped in a rooting powder. i tried the rooting powder in normal water but had no luck after a week. (this top is from my previous grow that went wrong)

Actually Just Put it in Rooting powder put it in a mini rockwool put it in a ziploc bag and just zip it...and the rockwool soaked wet until u see water remaining in bag just enough for humidifity

so...and dark place for 4 daay atleast

after that just start piercing hole in ur bag one per day i guess whole be a good amount the size of a pritzel?should do it

Since u got CFL u might be able to put it under CFL after 4 day or even sooner but i would recommend after 4 day
