Second Grow Auroa IndiCa

haha great thought actualy that's a second grow going under the table, a whole nother set of clones that will be going out doors when I flower my curent scrog. So there is a total of nine clones leftover so im still figuing out drainage but its pretty much solved im going to go with somehting suspended from the buckets, what do you think about the screen hight is it ok?... as for the spots on the leaves are they looking decent?.
Nice, I kept thinking about it, if the containers you suspended below had a flat bottom you could maybe attach a spigot or something (hose barb with a cap or something) to the bottoms of the containers to drain them just in case you need to drain them. You know even a tapering container like a funnel (an actual funnel probably wouldn't work but something that tapers in that fashion... maye) with a cork or something.

Hmmm with the way you set it up you gave me some ideas to make where you initially set up you screen not matter. You attached wood to the walls because the hooks wouldn't stay in the wall. Try drywall anchors, some of them can hold up to 50lbs, and you can put them anywhere in a sheet of drywall. But since you did attach wood to the wall i assume you don't have any apprehensions to doing it again. Why not put in a few different levels of hooks in the same manner giving you the option to move your screen up just incase the plants are growing to fast and you need some more height. Just another idea, you don't have to use it but i thought it would be nice to have a screen that could move up and down horizontally.

That said your height looks good, i did mine way to high when i did it horizontal and wish i had started more around where you are.

Nice build though, hell if i knew that you weren't opposed to fabricating shit i would have sent you a few different links to give you some different ideas for that space. What you came up with looks perfect though so no need to change it until you get bored right?

And just because i know someone's gonna ask what different ideas i was talking about here's a link:

I sooo want to try this on a smaller scale, This guy is nuts, He grows like this and tree style. The trees he grows are nuts, they're like the sequoia's of marijuana. It's not soil though, but i'm pretty sure the concept of that grow is along the lines of what Jig and i were suggesting for drainage initially, but obviously way more advanced, and made of gutters and not pvc. I just can't get enough of this guys grows and designs. Just search "heath" in the forum.

kudos and thank you so much I appriciate the feedback alot i was actuly thinkng of the same thing originaly with the pots to have hose that came into a bucket ro something as for the screen imdeffintly going to add more rows of wood besides a small screw hole is easier to patch then a dry wall anchor, but ya after i screwed everyhting in found some anchors in the drawer andi luaghed, good shit. and iv been watching that for soiemtime its insane i just cant phathom that whole thing i doubt ill ever attempt that but proably try to incorporate the more practical applications of it,

Good point on the anchor. Nice on the more rows of hooks i like to take precautions and add some redundancy into design. It promotes stability and versatility in function of said design. Yea me too that grow is sick. I shutter and get weak in the knees when i see the pics of the tree trunks he holds up with giant cube root balls attached. I don't think i can resist trying the high flow rate hydroponics he's got going there. I've seen a few other grows that used this technique and i really like the results.

well keep up the good work and good luck

thats what im thinking but i cant seem to find any ive let a couple geckos go in there along with handle full of lady bugs but its still persiting

you have random geckos you can throw into your grow space? do you hire them by the hour or do they just hang out until you need them?

last night i nuted my other auroa inidicas ( rest that never made it into the screen 8 i belive they hae all now reach through the screen so now its time to go under the table) im going to go out today to get another flourcent tube light for down there. im planning on putting those eight out side once there about a foot tall i have a few great spots and today when i went ot check on my outdoor grow, i discoed i had 4 females total. so i chopped down the males which dint seem like they had released and pollen( pods were still closed.) so i repoted them into bigger pots watered them and let them be they. are about 2 1/2 ft right now not many sets of leaves but thats comming this month im sure. we jsut had some rough patches of weather so it affected the growth any ways though the other Auroa indicas are going to be placed in this spot which is surounded by 20ft tall mangroves in l a cirlce the space is probably 8x4 and im going to try and put them al in hrere and see what happens im curious to see how bigh theyl get and how much theyll yeild. im really hoping that with the Ai and the other four females i have im looking at at least a pound all together. i mean thats fuckin12 female plants outside the whole season from march until harvest time so they sould get pretty big and I prevegged the ai indoors from march so im excited to see what will happen

Just make sure to not plant the outdoor ones too close together.

I love the setup with the two levels, that's great.

Glad to hear everything has reached the screen (if it has) and things are going smoothly.:blsmoke:

that's some high tech stuff. I swear my problem sometimes is I want to complicate things till they aren't worth anything. I like it.

last night i decided to put all my bag seed plants in the great outdoors so there all in one area and each plant is about 12 inches tall a few are almost to the 2 ft mark any ways so i moved the other auroa indica clones under the table to veg and allow more work space for above the table. sincce ive nuted my girls they have shown much improvmtent they are all eraching for the light and are near 10 inches or so know only another half inch to and inch to the screen. I am also thinking about switching to a four or five pannel t5 ballast thing says itll cover my area compleyl with 40,000 lummens which is much more then i have anow and it usees about the same power only draw back is like 160 bills but any input on that is it worth the time and effort to redo it any one think pics later when i get home from work tonight.

On the t5 light, you could very easliy build the same set up for a third of that price. Homedepot has all the nessessary parts (ballast, ignitor, sockets, wire, and the bulbs). Just find a guy in the lighting department and tell him the specs of the unit you want to build and he'll set you up with everything you need and tell you how to wire it up. haha bring a notebook. I've built a simmilar unit for over my aquarium couldn't have been easier.

On the co2, jig could give you a lot of info and experience on a diy method , but you said you'd do the reading so heres a link to a post of mine, read post number 435. It's long, i warn you now.

Smoote, there is no link.

I think you can make a light like he says. I think this would be one of the easier diy lighting setups.

moose, if you are not keen on building a t5 enclosure, I'd like to see a parts list, as I think I am going to need something to veg clones under soon, in a diff location. So depending on insterest you can post here or there.

And yeah, diy co2 is easy and I think it has worked for me. I mean I know it produces co2, but I think I have also seen better results since using. It's cheap too.

thankyou much im going to post some pictures and update probably next week before the training begins i actully tossed a differnt unkown strain that actully started to flower outdoors my mistake so i brought her in cut her back a little and put her in the table shes now already grwn through the screen and ive had to raise the lights on her end and train her under im feeling like she's going to give me a run for my money and to jig and smoote rember how we talked about having isses puilling limbs back well i have some bamboo growing so i cut a few stalkls down about 2 1/2 ft and taaped a coat hanger to it with the hook at the end so i can realch all the way through the limbs and just pull back that way.
as for the auroa indica i hear its very potent so im curious to see i nuted them 1/4 two waterings ago and the ha all made it to the screen but the lower limbs are having trouble growing so it's deffinatly going to be waiting game with her shes tends to stay vry short so im going to have a very long veg period so far we are comming up on 2 1/2 mnths from clone. but it's for a good cause ..... :) as for my outdoors one i put my mother AI outside the othernight along with other clones that i transplanted and wholllly shit i went to see my other plants and they are already 3 ft tall and have only been out side fo about two weeks and thats up ffrom one foot so i'm expecting some beasts unfourtuntly im battling bugs they chewwed three fmeales all the way down to the stalk the other day so i'm having to deal with mother natures curveballs . so illhave pictures opf the outdoors sots plants as well as indoor hopefully by monday so stay tuned, and thank you all for stopping by,,, ps any one know what average weight off and out door plant thats around 6-7 ft?
