Second Grow- 400w HPS- First time 12-12 from seed

awesome man!! Looks great! I am REAL close to first harvest. it seems like it flew by now, but man it was a looong time starting. I'm trying to get my clone game straight... :)

Thanks, just checked out your grow journal again and your clone looks real good man, so do your flowering plants.
 
well after this next grow we can do a side by side strain, for the next few months i'm just trying to keep it really simple with a couple auto's. But next time attitude or another seedbank is doing a big promo i'll grab up some seeds to save some $$

i'll have my auto grow in my sig within the next few weeks, so maybe i can change your mind about autos when you see my grow;-)

Thanks man. I'm really excited about it! I am trying to make all my stupid mistakes now :) I topped two, and think I'm gonna top all of them from now on... I'm gonna try LST on the clone this go around. :)

I just don't want to have lights on during the whole grow, I just feel weird about it. Cool I'll look forward to seeing your grow, by that time hopefully I'll have some nice bud drying from this one.

Im interested in the auto grow. I saw a technique where you can flower a bunch of lil clones to maturity in a couple weeks, but they only make like a 1/4... I am gonna look back into that, it might be something to try....unless i was really stoned and i have no idea what i'm talking about ;)

I saw a guy somewhere on a grow site who pulled almost 2oz dry off one afghan kush ryder, I probably won't pull that much but then again I got close to an oz using 3 cfls on a bubbleicious auto so you never know. auto's aren't really something I would clone though, I like starting with seeds.

yeah i get what you mean, 20/4 is a while to have them going especially with hps when you're sleeping. I set up mine to run the 12 hours that i'm awake just to be safe. I just like the idea of seeing the flowering start after 2 weeks and then watching them take off with autos.
 
Congrats man........ I'm doing an actual 12/12 from sew right now...........first time growing like that.........

Not posting pics because I don't have enough balls lol

i'm ordering a bunch of seeds today by the way

do you order from attitude? if you're interested you should pick up a pack of 3 afghan kush ryder seeds autoflowers (potent as hell and all indica, great bedtime strain). i have a 365w 6 bulb t5 fixture (mixed lighting) that i usually use for vegging, but this time i'm going to use it for 2 akr's all the way through.

i'm just going to throw them in a couple 5 gallon pots, set the timer to 20/4 and let them grow. plus my veg closet runs a little hotter so this strain would be perfect for the temperature. not to mention mold and pest resistant.

it would be cool to compare a grow of the same strain, mine under the t5's yours with the 400w hps. both in the 5gals

day 51 of flower, 5 days into flush, buds are really tight, still not as much red hairs as i'd hoped by this time.

pictures just look so shitty because it's a cell phone camera and it looks horrible underneath the 1000W HPS. i'll take pictures of them before i cut them down though i promise. :D
