I don't think I had root rot I think I have brown algea. There's tons of brown thick shit in the return lines that looks and feels like wet moss. The roots never felt slimy but had dark brown shit all over it.

I've been doing some reading about it and it sounds worse than root rot. Supposedly oxygen, correct water temp, enzymes, bennies and I dont think it needs light either.

This shit is like cannabis kryptonite!

7 days in and I'm just starting to see one or two tiny roots on a few clones. I always read that ph isn't important during the initial stages of cuttings in a cloner but at what point does maintaining ph become imperative? Should I start paying closer attention now that I have a few tiny roots or wait till they are more developed? Or have I been wrong this whole time and ph was always important?I never let it get that far out at all.

Thanks!
