switch them to the hps already, fuck the cfl's. they are ready to take off the training wheels and step up to the big boy's light.

I like your idea of waiting till flowering with the HPS... no timeline on veg, you can let em get to the size you want, and then flower. No need for the extra power and low spectrum this early..

the amount of time it will take a plant to get to a certain size will be different with a hps and cfl's. i already have a 2 month wait for flowering alone why would i want to wait any extra in the vegging state. cfl's are good for sprouts but after 2 weeks they are screaming for more light

I am in the morning :D.. Switching to 12/12 also. They are getting burned by the mg perlite :wall:.. I tossed it out today. The burning is minor. Should be fixed with a couple plain watering's.. :leaf:

yea it sucks :(.. All MG is garbage lol. The plants grow more under 12/12. Because of the perlite burning them, i want them to grow as soon as possible.

Going to pick up a huge bag of ffof and some REGULAR perlite . Not sure if i will be transplanting these into it or not. Thinking once the soil gets flushed it will be ok. Knowing MG, 2 cups worth of that perlite will probably feed my plant for a year.

MG has its up and downs, but for people who do not have access (local hydro shop) or do not have the money to order online, it is definitely better than letting your plants go nutrient deficient and give you some airy bud. This is of course only my opinion.

MG is fine for a hardy plant, but will kill off any runts and sometimes some pretty decent ones. Its all luck using MG the whole way through but sometimes you get decent plants from them. Just make sure you don't use the MG with the pesticide/weed killer. Hinders your chances.

Everything is looking ace man, I'd start to flower too, they get big enough that you could probably go 12/12 from seed just fine. Cheers mate, I just harvested and bought a 600w. Yesssssss.

Every single one of my germinated plants has lasted and is doing great flowering in MG soil.

you don't really need to flush it, it's not like the nutrients in it are bad, just avoid getting the dirt on the leaves and there is really no need to feed it for quite a while. So far I have had no issues with MG soil.
