Scrog V's lst who does what!!!!

HELL YEAH M8! get her under the net now, set @ about 3 inches below top of plant and pull all the tips back under and spread them out across the net, repeat in 3 or 4 days, after 2 weeks maybe, if canopy is nice and full and level, which it should be by then, flip that sexy looking bitch.... good luck with her.

Incorrect SOG is best for multi strain grows. SOG stands for sea of green. You have a LOT of plants in 1 gallon pots growing rather small, this allows you to have various strains all growing together. You will yield less per plant but having so many makes up for it and you still come out with a decent yield.
incorrect. using multiple strains in a sea of green makes maintaining an even canopy impossible. reading up on THAT fact about scrogging in some pros and cons for every tech is what made me decide to do SCROGging. you wouldn't want to mix giant stretchy sativas with sea of green cash cropping hybrids or *cringe* indicas. i can't find the specific site i got the info from, but it said in no uncertain terms that SCROG is the best tech for maintaining an even canopy in a mixed grow. as i only like getting high, stretchy strains are a given and i toy around with breeding those with shorter faster strains to try and keep improving THC profiles as so many great hybrids like herer have done.

OK, i see there's conflicting opinions on SOG vs SCROG and multiple strains... the pros and cons i just found at grasscity says SOG is better for multi-strain grows, the exact opposite of wherever i got my info. i STILL think SCROG is better just based on my personal experience juggling plants daily with risers to maintain an even canopy with C99, LSD, haze skunk and thai all in the same space. tying everything down on a screen is not only easier, but it also improves light coverage and from i've been reading from other SCROGgers, it really improves their yields too. i don't ever want to juggle plants and have them tipping over myself so if nothing else, scrogging is just more convenient then having to tear an entire garden apart every day just to lower a plant in the back.

here's my effort of a multi strain, multi technique 1.2m x 1.2m, 600w hps, advanced nutrients range!!!!

small lst'd blueberry, au natural bella donna, topped bella donna, white shark, white widow and rhino and fim'd bella donna x 2

here they are @ day 15 of 12/12. now on day 38 but not taken pics yet... next cple days i will.

I LST and love the results. Its nice to only have 4 plants a time, but get a good yield. I have considered SCROGGING but one main thing holds me back.. I like to take the girls out of the tent every now and then to see them under normal light (HPS light messes with look of the foliage). It seems like it would be really hard to pull plants in and out of the screen. But I also feel like light distribution to the colas would be better with the SCROG because of the colas being organized in the screen. LST is super easy and I get good results though so its hard to make the switch.

Also your plants look great!

yeah m8 theyve really started to bulk out now, will have more recent pics up in next day or two, or video if i can, not tried uploading a video yet......

i agree that pulling the, out under a net is nigh on impossible, especially in the latter stages of flowering.

I don't top I just use LST, and really only to bend the top back down to the base and tie it there. Once the top is lower than other branches the plant seems to be confused about which branch is the top and blows them all up.

here's the video, i had to put on utube to get it on here lol they are @ day 33

check my vid out m8, proves you right indeed, not that i disagreed with you in first place, on the contrary in fact.

Actually being a medical grower I am limited on how many plants I can have so less plants that are bigger is just what I'm after. Now correct me if I'm wrong but scrogging is more then 1 plant under a screen right! If that's the case LSTing 1 plant in a tote seems like the way to go for me.I don't care about vegging time as it's only flowqwring plants I have a limit on.

You can always have your friends get a medical card and have them name you their grower allowing you to grow twice as much. If you're in Cali, they made an amendment to the law saying that the govt can't limit the amount of medicine you have. I don't know if non cali states made the same amendments, but i'd look it up.
