2 I've been drinking alot lately both cheap and delicious. Cruzan single barrel. and plantation grand reserve..Cruzan got some cloves and cinnamon, warming and nice with a touch of nilla, nice when cold or stormy... the plantation hits you with leather and a classic butter rum taste, some bottles heavy on the diacetyl though, with flambeed bananas lingering for some time afterword

great choices when needing cheap liquor imo...peace

Mr. Hookabelly likes Bulleit, but on recommendation we tried Old Weller and Buffalo Trace. The Old weller is 107 proof I think. Bulleit wins out. But for half the price Buffalo Trace is the winner. Still an excellent spirit[h=1][/h]

Our kitchen table had three things on it all times, a bottle A-1 sauce, salt n pepper and the Trader Vic's Bartending Guide, as a family we've read the book several times ;)

Good bump. It reminder me that I have a couple of airplane bottles in my luggage that I never got to. I think I should go open one up. Hmmm, Bourbon or Rye?

treating myself with Blanton's tonight
Blanton's is nice. I keep a bottle of that around. I'm drinking Glenfarclas 17yr right now. I probably should have got 15 yr old for half the price since the reviews say it's pretty much the same

never much of a Scotch drinker. Just didn't develop a taste for it.Tonight is my regular go to drink, Evan Williams Single Barrel.

I've just gotten into scotch lately. I've found that what turned me off of scotch was the heavy peat/smoke flavor. I like the ones with less of that. This scotch is aged in sherry barrels and it has a sweet caramel flavor not unlike bourbon.
