#1 Has a fruity smell

#4 Still has a very strong skunk/fuel smell. The black shell on the leaf to the right is what is left behind when a larvae hatches into a ladybug.

Schwaggy, where ya been? What's new and good?

Just read the thread in the last couple days, and wanted to add to the respect others have expressed.

Love your commitment to the Plant, the time you've taken to spread knowledge, and your choices of genetics to play with... So much so, in fact, that I just had to check a couple out for myself, along with the latest Bodhi order from GLG.

Skunky VA and Skunky VA x Skunky D should be en route shortly, so I figured I'd shoot a couple anticipatory questions your way...

10 or so years ago, I had a "Chemdog" cut I loved, but never knew which specific cut it might be. Having since had experiences with a few Chem D derivatives, I can say that wasn't it. I get moth balls (camphor?), Garlic, and onions predominately in the Chem D crosses I've done.

The "Chem" I had in an overheated little 400hps closet was lanky, spear shaped buds, and all lemons and gasoline vapors in the smell/taste department, according to my decade-old memory. She had a Sativa heavy effect, to the point of paranoia, and peeking through the blinds.

Does this sound like the SKVA to you, or maybe the JB or maybe something else?

Been missing whatever it was since I lost it, and since I haven't run across the SKVA again yet, I'm looking forward to checking out your beans, as the rks and Iraqi sound like great potential too!

So, next question goes in the opposite direction. The reason for the latest Bodhi order is a good night time indica. Heavenly Hashplant (Katsu Bubba x 88G13HP) and Pillow Book (Master Kush x Purple Unicorn F something) should provide something good there, but, what do you think the chances of finding a good knock out in either Skunky VA or the Skunky VA x Skunky D crosses?

Something from the dad or grandad maybe?
I'll be looking for each end of the Sativa / indica spectrum either way, and of course, plenty of stink!

Last question for now is, do you have any thoughts on a name for the Skunky VA x Skunky D cross yet? Skunky VD, Funky VD? VD Funk? I dunno... Anyway, looking forward to running them and finding some gems!

Oh, and if anyone else can answer any of those questions, from experience, feel free...

Hey @Schwaggy P , I've got another question that's been eating at me a while, but I guess I haven't figured out how to ask the Google, but I figure maybe your scientifically trained self could answer:

I run a recirculating hydro system, 1/2" top fed, through hydroton, then 2" PVC, water falling to rez, timer set to 1 min on, per hour.

From experience, oxygen levels seem to be fine; No root rot or any noticeable detrimental effects to growth, but for peace of mind, would you happen to know a formula for how fast oxygen levels deplete per gallon of water, per hour, at what temp, etc?
I've tried searching here and the web in general, but I'm not sure if I'm asking the algorithms the right questions, so I figured I'd ask a smart human lol

love the black leaves. my favorite looking varietals are black leaved with either a sativa leaf shape and/or og structure. i would add the funcionality of a dark leaved sativa is prolly good to in the sense the darker leaves usually signify less need for light and the sativa thin leaves is to allow light penetration through. so a thin leaf dark varietal i'd imagine would have less need for light to get solid mature buds. may not be true i am just deducing that from the reasons black leaves and thin leaves exist evolutionarily speaking
oh and hope all is well schwaggy p i had your choc trip f5s and fruity pebbles og x choc trip both in my hands debating on popping them the other night. imma hold off another round or two though. i ended up popping some karma headbanger f2s instead no real reason other than i kinda wanna go after some sours from the Sour D and/or sfv phenos that may be hidden in the biker kush(lucifer og parent)

Smoke report for the 4 ( Chem91skva x c99 ) x Chocolate Trip F4 .

#1 potent but with a pretty boring high. Not much in the smell or taste department

#2 Nice and potent . Everything about it reminds me of c99 except it doesn't have the rushyness of c99.

#3 is also quite potent and smells and tastes like cherry cough syrup. It has a really enjoyable hybrid high but turns into Zzzzzz if over indulged.

#4 Smells and tastes like chocolate. If someone was blind folded and you held the open jar in front of them and asked what they smelled , they would say chocolate. This one seems to have the heaviest of the indica highs. But still isn't couchlock unless a few doobies in a row are smoked. Before that point the high almost feels like a dry drunk.

not to be redundant but you got the shwaggy level postings of late here great f'n stuff. nice controlled flower and pheno comments and nug shots descriptions. sweet!!!!
. imma get there soon with the posts ha. i got some shit rn that is killer on the vine we shall see what she smokes like(vanilla kush x some 79 xmass male). i wish i had a camera not some 99 dollar chineese phone shit i'm rocking atm. i just popped like 30 seeds to ramp it up. i decided to pop the fruity pebble x choc trip schwaggy gave me. ill be posting the progress here. literally just dropped them in water tho. so long way from a smoke report

Good news this fossil fuel beauty is gonna be a girl. She has been flowering for almost 2 weeks. I'll get pics up in a few weeks.

Also I hope you are doin good @Schwaggy P it's been a long time since you've posted. Hope everything is good man.

well i wanna thank greenhighlander for keeping schwaggy p's thread alive in his absence. i sure hope he is just busy making seeds and that everything is ok and life is finding him well. i will try and help out a lil with the thread. i just popped some fruity pebble og f3 x choc trip f4 schwaggy gave me as a gift over a year ago . he also gave me some choc trip f4s i still am holding onto. i'll try and post every cpl weeks the progress if they all sprout.
BTW, SCHWAGGY'S SERIAL KILLER LIKE ATTENTION TO DETAIL CAN BE SPOTTED IN THE EXACTLY ONE DESSICANT BALL HE PROVIDES IN HIS SEED PACK LOL. good ol schwaggy p :)

Since things are a little quiet here, I'll ask... has anyone listening run Schwaggy's Afghan Skunk. I liked the sound of Green Crack mixed with Dominion's Granny Skunk and bought a pack that I haven't gotten to yet. The Chemmy skunky offerings sound wonderful but this one sounded a step off the common path.

What's put this one back on my mind is that a friend thinks he's just got his hands on the legit Green Crack cut. We'll see about that, but I've already got an idea about what to do with my "Granny Crack" males if that pans out. ;)
