SayWords 1st grow, seven plants

i'll definately keep this baby updated for u guys. dont worry about that. the soil is called roots organic by aurora. im usin the nutrients from aurora too. anyways, the one big droopy ass plant looks HORRIBLE today. horrible. almost dead. i think because it was in a shitty spot and not gettin sufficient light from the cfls. i fed all the big ones today and it took me half an hour to get the ph right on the nutrient water. heres a couple flix

how long has it been since you watered the drooper?

I noticed during my first "operation" the babies would get droopie or even start to turn brown when they were out growin their pots.

i finally got my kid back from the baby sitter. got pics

When will your HPS arrive?..Today i ordered a 600 watt HPS with built in ballast and reflector for 50.00...It also come's with a new bulb

I tracked my order, and its in arizona already

what! a 600w w/ ballast for 50 bux??! damn man. i dropped 250 on mine, it comes with electronic ballast and reflector and shit but damn. im jealous man. mine's supposed to arrive a week from today.

because my plants were lookin so fuckin shitty (there were 2 or 3 that were lookin similar to the drooper) my girl and i went a lil cfl crazy and got a few more. so now the lighting in there is bangin. straight up. i'll take a flick but we got like 18 cfls now or some shit. when the hps comes im gonna move most of them if not all of them out of there and use them for veg room (which is only in my mind as of right now. no actual veg room yet lol)

yah dude, 18 cfl for something like 20 or more plants, that is a little less than 1 cfl per plant. so i say you did a good thing to get more CFLs. i got 2 cfl on my one plant and next week i'm going to get two more to hang up on its sides.

I wouldnt scrap those CFLs for the veg room bro. at least hang up 3 on the two longest sides of your crip and 1 or 2 on the two shorter sides of the crib, this way the sides get more light. i read thats a good thing to do since the bottom parts dont get much light as the top does.

Bro, have you given up on your LST?
How do you do it? you gotta tie it down slowly a little bit every day until its on the soil? then repeat for what... every other node?

you've seen my pot, its a big 15 gallon pot, so i think i'm gonna veg the bitch until it has been LST all the way around that pot lol. this wya if its female, its gonna be like havin 2 or 3 plants lol (i hope)

yeah man, hangin a few on the sides is definately something im thinkin i'll probably end up doing. and i did kind of give up on the lst thing just because i kinda transitioned from that into now a sea of green type thing. but you definately should do it. im not any expert on it, but have u tried googling it and shit on how to do it well? just keep bendin the stem down to the soil. then just keep doin it with the branches and all.

are any of your baby's branches/stems purple? like purple and hairy like velvet?
mine is, i wonder what it means or is this some kinda trait of indica?

um, i havent noticed any puple. dont think so. but i heard that its normal and it may or may not go away. i wouldnt worry about it

i am also haveing purple stems...i think its from the cooler temps

it can be temps also it can be a defeincy of some sort i am not sure but i think it is magnesium but dont quote me on that.it would pay to check some other threads

Yeah i dont think its anythin to worry about, but again i dont think its from temps. I hear of bud turnin purp from temps but my TEMPS stay at a constant
70-80 degrees

Could look it up, like one of the only Nlxskunks around riu.

(copy and pasted from the thread i made about it)

so this morning the plants were lookin fine and dandy. i came home from work at 1am and theyre wilting beyond belief. i dont even know if its wilting. the leaves are all down and have all shrunk in size and just look like theyre bout to kick the bucket. so the only thing i could think to do was give them a big bucket of water and nutrients, even tho i gave them nutes two days ago.

the plants are like 7 weeks vegging. I fed and watered them 2 days ago. but the soil was pretty fuckin dry tonight. maybe theyre just super hungry and thirsty?? the pots are i dont know how many gallons but like 10 wide, maybe 10-12 inches high. the only other thing that i think it could be besides being hungry/thirsty is rootbound. if they dont perk up from this feeding i'll transplant tomorrow or day after. theyre under cfls, the temp is like 78.


please please any help. i'll check back in the morning.

Need pics but mabey it just underwatered. Thats what it sounds like.
If i could see the pot size, plant etc, might be able to say if its rootbound.

the camera battery's dead. gotta find the charger but its the same blue and like tan pots that are in the pics in this thread. none of the plants are over 12" tall.
