The idea has been around it is just being displayed in this thread and also a HOW-TO GUIDE to do it.

Just picked up the latest issue of high times and there is a small article about making this style of odor control bucket.
It may not be an original idea but great minds think alike.

Yeah, I use this method for odor control. Had 3 plants, it handled the smell just fine.

Just bought me some ONA. I will get a bucket and start this project soon. Thanks for this thread. I read the High Times article with the similar bucket, and after reading a bunch of posts, i know its time to do this.

You can find it at wal-mart
I bought the same one years ago but not for an ona bucket just for air circulation. I would highly suggest running a carbon filter on your exhaust instead. Much safer

HAVE A QUESTION ROSEMANNN do i put water in the bucket as well or just the gel or block????....please help man my babys are soon to smellin very sweet and low on cash..

I would get the liquid ona and mix it with soil moist crystals and it will last forever. the gel is just a tiny bit of ona liquid and some soil moist to make it bigger , i think when it dries out u put some water with it.
but the blocks an gel are made to be by theirself i think.

i used the bucket with pinesol but it sucks , ona is alot better.

I'll try one of these when my girls start stinking. I may need something more to try. Plus I enjoy making my own stuff and saving $.

Perfect, all I can say is perfect. I've delt with ONA before on a job site and this stuff is REALLY effective. I'm going to build two of these for my grow. Should work perfectly for my 5 plant setup!
