Roseman's Odor Bucket

It works for me, I don't need to run the fan all the time, just a few minutes each day and each night.

So, Is it true that you cannot use the Ona in your flowering room? Im really interested as I plan to procur some Ona this weekend and had planned to use in my flower room but was also worried about it flavoring or affecting the smell of the buds? It says on the Ona bottle that it doesn't have a smell of its own at least the unscented regular version...

All I know for sure is there are hundreds of internt hydro sites and they only sell one product for ODOR other than carbon, and it is ONA.
When I start Flwoering, I';ll sit my bucket outside the door.

Well, they pretty much all sell ozone generators as well. I don't think ONA is harmful to plants in flowering. I've never heard that.

i have one of these buckets in my flower room but instead of the fan inside the bucket , i have my 6" duct connected to the lid of the bucket pulling out of the room.(so i dont worry bout smell and taste) I have only tried pine sol .... so far. The pine sol dont cover it very well, Now it smells like skunk and pine sol together. So i put a uv ozone generator inside the duct right before it leaves the house. The skunk is still way overpowering the pine sol and the ozone generator just aint set up "correctly" so i am going to get some ona for the bucket and see if that works ? I think it will be alot better then now.
The only reason my ozone gen. aint workin is because the smell/air is being pushed past it too fast to do its job. So i'll post back with the ONA results.
the only way to get the ozone to work is to let the dirty air sit with it for a few minutes THEN let it outside.
so for all you guys gettin ready to try this stuff.......DONT use the pine sol in the bucket(only ONA), and read up real good on the ozone before tryin that too.
GOOD LUCK ALL!

ONA is not harmful to plants but i do believe it can affect the smell and taste of fruit. That shit is very strong. thats just my opinion .... so far.
I'm ordering ONA right now to check out.........bongsmilie

Oh yeah, if you are looking to dump your dirty air directly outside (foolish), you definitely need get a carbon filter. That's your only hope, screw an ONA bucket and/or ozone generator.

I dump the air (post carbon filter) into a room. I also dump my air from my veg room into this same room and it is unfiltered and sometimes pretty stinky in it's own right. Adding an ozone generator into THAT room eliminated ALL odor for me. Can't smell a thing. You definitely need to do the research on how each product works and how to use them effectively.

When it comes down to which is the pound for pound heavy weight champion of filtration it's the carbon filter by a clear mile.

so you dont think dumping the strait dirty air into a room with the ozone gen. would be enough? i figure to let the dirty shit sit with ozone for about 20 or 30 min. Then realease it to outside ?????????? help me out please.... is that carbon REALLY nessecary ?

I agree 100%, if you want the best option go with carbon filters

I've honestly never tried it that way. Can't imagine it's going to work, but that would be the way to try to do it.

I'm confused though. How would you empty the air from the room you dump into? Buy another big ass fan? Isn't that more expensive than a carbon filter?

Well i can empty the room with another fan like i have already. (cheap, good cfm's , but NO horsepower, so i cant pull/push through any filter with it) this is it : http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1747223

It is NOT the cfm's ace says it is though. That with a couple timers should do it ? but now im confused , how do u get rid of your ozone? do u just leave it ?

ozone doesn't accumulate. It only has a half life of about 30 minutes. I set my ozone generator to be on for 15 minutes each hour. It cleans it out more than adequately.

I would make the investment in a fan and a carbon filter though. Worst case try dumping to a different area and running the ozone for 30 minutes every hour.

What ozone generator do you have? I have a uvoniair UV Ozone Generator. I don't much care for the inline corona discharge units, but if you put it in the room that your dumping too it should clean it up pretty well before sending it out.

i just got this one for 112$ http://www.horticulturesource.com/environmental-controllers-co2-generators-fans-blowers-duct-air-purification-c43/air-filters-purification-odor-control-bug-nets-etc--s42/c-a-p-custom-automated-products-ozone-generator-5500-sqft-p4875/?osCsid=0a61dee882e595ecd0521d3e26ad2d62

i already have the bucket set up so i might as well get some ona gel for it. as far as the ozone goes i think i'll try your advise and just put the generator in a sealed room........? wont that burn your fan up quick because of backpressure ?

The fan on the ozone generator isn't going to burn up. It BARELY moves any air. Do you live in this room? Any pets? Could be a little problem with that monster ozone generator you got there.

Make sure you put it on a timer, you don't want to be exposed to THAT much ozone.

Roseman I use the exact same method for the past few grows. The only thing I can really say is Honestly it is very temporary.
And I only have a few going at a time. I had to keep adding Ona every week. And Dude my girl stays pissed.
I keep telling myself it works, cause when Im in the room I smell clean.
She walks in the house and smells Ganja.
She can distinguish the smells apart.

Lately I have been moping the floor every other day
with Faboluso. That covers it up very good in addition to the Ona block.
I even added the Moisture pellets to prolong the cleanness.

Im going to do a carbon filter. I have no choice in the matter anymore.

I like the Tut. Very same design I used.
Again like I said for me, it's a cheap temporary fix.

I think It works well when you have company over
you can blast the room with a cup of fresh ona
But, Not a end all, be all of odor control.
But just a another step in odor security
