Hey guys,

im running a DWC system and i just switched to flower, the problem is my roots have almost filled my 10 gallon tote Do i need a bigger resivour ?

If you are only flowering now you are going to need a lot more room than that if the tote is already full. That looks insane. Nice work dude. How big are they?

How many plants and how big are they now? It may not be that much of a problem. You can also cut some of that rootmass back. I know, I know, some will say don't do that. But I've seen over 50% of roots cut off and the plants didn't even skip a beat.

theres 2 plants and there both 1ft tall but extremely bushy, would growth/bud quality be affected if i just let the roots be ??

They look like little monsters. I doubt it would really matter unless the rootmass at the very bottom wasn't getting enough air. It looks incredibly healthy though. I wouldn't mess with it if its going this good. What are you feeding them?!

thanks man ,

feeding them 1 part flora nova grow at about 500 ppm

Holy root mass batman....wowwww. Nice job man...but...just to be on the safe side i'd bump up to a bigger tote.

You will have a hard time switching to another tote without trimming some roots because you will have to take the netpot out and pull the roots up through the hole. The get them in the same size hole in the larger tote. I'd let them go for now.

i might try to keep the cover of the smaller tote and get it to sit on top of the cover of the bigger tote, if you catch my drift...

They look great. If you have a Target by you get a tote there and you can take an extra lid for free. If that is a 10 gal roughneck the lid will fit the 18 gal and you will be set.
