Room humidity is 60-70%, is a 55% cure possible?

With window AC blasting the room reads 70F/62% during day, 66F/67% at night.

Is it possible to 'burb' the jarred bud down to 55-60% humidity in such an environment?

From what I understand longer cures are better, even if you battle high RH just keep an eye for mold. But yes you should be able to cure it. Will take a little longer tho

Im quite new to growing myself, but if the RH in the room is 62% at its lowest, it seems like thats as low as the bud is gonna get - seems it will go as low as the environment is...... I also think thats a fine target zone (62% is great, 67 may be a tad high) for your cure, though.

Im sure someone else will know much more than me.

if its too humid why not just plug in a dehumidifier, usually there is a dial on them set the dial to the desired humidity for the room that you place it in.

OP I cured last summer under similar conditions and will be doing so again soon. I burp for two weeks in quart jars, then carefully empty into clean glass bowl then repack jars with an 8 gram Boveda 62. Continue burping with Boveda in the jar. I'd order from Boveda website or "ships from" Amazon to assure freshness. They come in a ten pack for $10.98.

From what i understand, 55% is the sweet spot for drying whereas 65% is the sticky zone for the cure, I'm curing in similar humidity and just need to make sure i burp often the first week but even if the jar is 67% the bud will burp excess moisture, great question I'm curious whether the jar stabilizes at rh in the air around or if it can be lower
