Rollitup, Consider Enhancing the Front Page

with maybe a 'best of/most popular thread of the day' section at the top of the page, maybe just highlighting a certain member or a journal. I don't know the range of the tools you have to adjust the forum in that way, but I think it would be sweet to get that instant portal into the community, it would even help established members branch out into the full site rather than sticking to just a few sections.

how cool would it be to have the 'thread of the day'? Tons of otherwise oblivious people would get to check out a diverse sampling of the site.

i want a "best of section" for toke-n-talk.

I like the best of and most popular. I think it's kind of done like that with the "sticky" tags..no?

Definately a good idea for all sections.

yeah sticky tags dont change too much though, and it would potentially be a sticky-type things but on the front page. and on each forum there could also be something a little more static than stickies. stickies are ALWAYS good solid reference, but not indicitive of the forum's community.
