hi. i just clipped 18 clones, cut at a 45, shaved off a small amount of stalk to expose heart. dipped in powder hormone. set into rock wool pre soaked at 6.2. anyway its day 6 now and my clones dont look happy. the leaves are all droopy ans some of the ones on bottom are yellow, though all the clones are standing upright. anyway my question is about the rockwool i guess. is flooding the cube daily with an ebb and flow hydro setup, daily, with ph constantly monitored, too much moisture. should i not water the cubes and put em on heat pad fer a few days? all the mothers are still alive, should i scrap the clones and start a new batch. (one of the mothers shows great genes)

Might want to lower your ph a lil. Flooding your try is not a good idea. They need to be moist at all times, NOT WET! I spray mine with a spray bottle a couple times a day. Make sure you have a humidity dome or your humidity stays over 75%

Give your clones some time to recover from the shock. Ive had clones take up two weeks to root before. Just remember KEEP THEM MOIST NOT WET!

yea i just took em out of the tray. they had been sitting there fer 2 days with no flooding and there was still water standing in the pots. too wet. i left them in the natural sun on concrete to drain and dry a little. i will monitor closely all day. and will prepare a spray with a 5.8 ph.

Keep clones away from all the store bought toys. Dome, spray mist. 6 drops of a natural rooting compound would be nice, it's called liquid seaweed.

ok so... i just changed the whole setup because as i went to pull one of the ded ones, i noticed that the stalk was rotten. i then found that the stalk had rotted on all of them. so for each plant in turn (if still alive) i pulled, cut, trimmed, and set in water while i shook out rock wool. sprayed rock wool with food/water ph.d at 5.8-6. shook out again. dipped fresh cut stalk in hormone then in rock wool. i managed to save 12. but in the hulaboo i didn't manage to keep track of who came from which mother, but that should not matter cause they all came from the same feminized strain. i now have an incubator set up. i have a plastic bag with a zipper (the kind that have bedding in it when you buy it at the store). inside the bag i have a heat pad. on top of the heat pad a Teri cloth sprayed with phood. on top of that a milk crate faced with the top open. i have it now mostly zipped up so it will vent a little, and two 30w clamp light cfl clamped onto the milkcrate pointing down through the clear vinyl bag. its very humid in there but they seem to like it so far
