would salts build up in my medium even if the plants show no sign of nute burn or deficiencies a.k.a look perfectly healthy what would that do to me
I think I had some salt build up in mine, they didnt show any sign of anything, expect 1 or 2 lower leafs, changing to yellow, really slow growth, I flushed and they all started growing again.
But I didnt flushed 10 gallons, thats i only did 2 which seemed to be plenty

I had a 17" plant 3 days ago, now its 22" It doesnt hurt to flush,

but Unity, the grow is lookin' great, keep it up.

hey unity would you mind explaining how that whole little hydro system works I have wanted to start one for so long but have trouble understanding a few things. I understand people use air stones and the pump spaghetti tubing to the ring at the base of the pot. Do you use a reservoir or just top drip and if so how do people that top drip SCROG manage to change the reservoir.

They had not gotten a single tricome, and looked rather fucked up. It hurt as hell, but sometimes it is better to break a grow off then to wait for the inevitable.
I have my theories on what happened, but in the ens that is all they are, theories. It could have been the hydroton (re-used), it could have been a failed timer (ventilation air), or it could have been just a fucked up strain to begin with.....
Here are some pics of what they looked like when I broke the grow off:

Sorry bro, I was not monitoring this thread for a while. I use a res, but it is remote in another room, so I have access during lights out ;)

Sorry to hear it, unity. I'm going through a similar situation with some seedlings myself. So many theories as to why things aren't going well. Of course, I'm sure it's so much more painful when you're five weeks into flower. Best of luck with the next run, man
