I'd say it's fairly balanced, maybe leaning a little more to the right/conservative side of current politics.
You have a handful of crazies from the right and the left who post here, but most of the time it seems pretty balanced to me, for the most part.

its constantly changing, it was full of libs to the point where hardly any conservatives even posted much except for a few consistant rabble rousers like viRed
then once the election started getting closer it was real heated more lib tho cuz eveyone hated bush but then obama won and the politics section kinda died down
a few months later there was a bunch more conservatives posting shit up i guess cuz now cuz everybody hates obama
but it used to be like 80% liberal
its a fluid battle that we fight here, no one has won the war yet

I have been a member here for a long time and only recently came back. I have noticed that there are only about 3 or 4 people who are "Palin-Republicans" that answer every question with an insult. They lack any substance at all and are generally profoundly ignorant of even basic civics. Again this manifests itself in their ineptitude at debate and quick use of personal attacks.

I'm with you when it comes to the hardcore Christian Right, but I equally despise the Progressive's suicidal agenda to our sovereignty and financial stability. That's Democratic Progressives AND Republican Progressives.

a true conservative would allow all drugs, lower taxes, lower welfare so people will have to empower themselves.
if lower taxes you actully get more revenues for the government
raising taxes actually decreases revenues for the government look at california, they keep raising taxes and losing revenue
i really think obama is trying to saddle america with the final blow so there is a total economic collapse and there will be a socialist revolution
obama is secretly a socialist except he cant keep a secret
any man with half a brain can see with him more than doubling the spending of bush who had already doubled it from clinton and was way way way out of control on spending
the debt is unsustainable
i have more trust in china and what they would do to force obama to chill the fuck out than i do with my own president
i think china has more interest in the stability of our country than even our president!!

i try to be as balanced as possible but its hard to be sometimes when reality escapes the right. I am independent, but find myself defending the left from the crazy wacky righties......(no hard feelings to anyone) i love a good debate. but sometimes they make me feel like the most left of anyone. funny cuz i watch all news channels to get a more balanced view, not just 1. i like to see all points of view then make up my mind.
i just dont jive with discrimination towards anyone, even covert discrimination.

We all have our tactics, their views are as important as our views and if you dont consider letting them say what they want, then you are no better. we have the right to spout whatever we want to spout, so with that being said, you need to let them have their voice. even if you disagree with it, or its a personal attack, so what? they have a voice as well. and if your not listening to the criticism, how do you expect to grow? criticism is a good thing, even when we dont agree with it. it lets the government know that we are not very happy right now.
