Looking real good man. I have to chuckle at your indecision on what strain to go with. I have been contemplating that for 4 grows now. I can tell you the GC will pobably yeild more than the pk. The pk is not a big yeilder, but when you smoke it ( especially when you grew it), you will see why it is so hard to get rid of. I have smoked pk before, but never like the stuff I grow. How many growers do you think are as dialed in as you are? Most are just trying to yeild as much as possible as fast as possible, which means cheap nutes, no flush, quick dried weed. So yours will most likely be the best you have tasted of that strain. I know I am rambling here, but I am so baked, that Orange Crush Diesel is bomber. Anyway as I was saying, LMAO, I wouldn't toss that pk out just yet. It's soo good ;)

Maybe I need both, but if thats the case I need to figure out some veg box space issues.

So I flipped about 5 min ago. Im going to continue to run veg nutes for two weeks then transition for week three and into full flower nutes for four through eight.(those of you who are more experienced let me know if this doesnt seem like a good idea) Right now Im giving the ladies ro water 1450ppm with ph of 5.8. This seems like a lot of nutes but they seem happy and growing well with no signs of nute burn.
First a view of the whole tray, looks almost full.

View attachment 1083784
Heres a pic of the pk I have 12 of them and 6 green crack so the whole front half of the tray closest to the door is pk and the first 3 of the back half also. You can see how stout and stiff the purple kush grows.Very thick stems that dont move much, maybe not the best scrog candidate. I think the screen will mostly be for support on the front half.
View attachment 1083783
Now for the green crack. This strain is really starting to impress me it is a very fast grower. It weaves well for scrog . It finishes in 7 weeks. If it yeilds better than the pk I think that Ill have no choice but to keep this for my one and only strain. Im set on learning one strain to near perfect grows before adventuring into other things. Watching raiderfans pk grows were such an inspiration but learning from his last grow that the purple wouldnt come out as much with the high temps of the co2 grow, and all the great things ive learned about this strain, I might have to make the switch. Its all down to the yeild and quality.
heres a shot of the gc side. Look at how well it as spread and with minimum efforts on my part. Just minor spreading out of the branches. Also all the plants were fimmed once at about the third or fourth internode.

and finally the pk mom. She just got a good lst job.
here you can see the way that I tied her down
View attachment 1083810
heres her all spread out
View attachment 1083811
and heres her topped area where all here shoots span from
View attachment 1083812
Ill hate to have to start over with a Gc mom but I wont have a choice if it keeps impressing the hell outa me.

I Will clone a shitload of pk and gc for next round this weekend. I dont know which direction that will head yet so Im leaving my options open. I think thats about it for this update peeps. Hope this will be a great show for all who attend!
Dpending on the npk of your nutes I would do week 1 flower with veg, week 2 with blend 50/50 and be full flowering by week 3. I just think ur waiting a touch too long because at the end of week 4, for me at least, a good portion of the bud growth has happened.

Thanks man, that sounds good. After I wrote that I felt like it sounded too long to wait.

I'll throw in my two cents--

I was using my veg ferts(FF Grow Big 6-4-4) into the 2nd week and then switched to a 20-20-20 until the 4th or 5th week and my buds swelled and developed a lottt faster than when I started using bloom ferts right after the switch. but like SG said, it depends on your npk but Im a firm believer that mj needs a lot more N in bloom than most growers or fert companies promote

screen is now lookin full and girls are happy. Since the pk isnt going to stretch that much Ive slowed down on training them, not stopped it but slowed a lot. The green crack on the other hand is goimg crazy and I have to train, tucking, and bending it in every direction.
IMG_2433.jpgIMG_2434.jpgIMG_2435.jpg

So this time I tried a little different method for my cloning. Instead of the solid rockwool piece that fits in the humidome, I bought the 1 inch cubes and set them on growstones to hold moisture under the cubes.
IMG_2438.jpg
I took 48 cuttings because I havent been very successful so far and wanted extra just in case. I took 24 gc and 24 pk. I could only fit 36 into my humidome so 12 went into the veg area without cover. I have my humidifier set to 75% and it is about 90% in there, so I really dont think that I need a cover anyway. I also didnt put the growstones under the 12 cutting because theres no cover to trap the moisture anyway. I modified the humidifier to pump directly into the humidome so Im pretty sure its 100% in there. Im curious to see if there is any difference between the cuttings covered and not having the high humidity in there. Results soon to come. Btw I think that its Blackroses that I must thank for the idea to shoot the humidity into the dome. Thanks buddy. Correct me if im mistaken.

Works for humidity in the dome I just hope it doesn't condensate and over-wet the cubes. RW was always harder for me to clone in for some reason, dries out weird...

Scrog is look great though!

i just went out to the shed and the entire tray was full of water, so I took the hose out of the dome. Actually the humidity in there seems to be good without cause the other uncovered tray looks good too. Maybe the dome isnt needed.

If your RH in the space is like 80% or above you probably don't need the dome at all. I just keep mine in the closet with about 40-50% ambient rh, so I just wet the dome & cuttings down twice a day and put back on, works great for me. If you still have problems with RW give Root Riot or Rapid Rooters a try. Think they are similar products made of composted bark. But they have the beneficials and they are organic, seem to just work better than RW for me. Best of luck man, that screen will be sick in a few weeks.

lookin amazing!! what did you have your co2 set too?!
Im gonna peek out the co2. Ive had it at 800 and slowly brought it up to 1200 through veg. now I will get it up to 1400 in flower, but it will go as high as 1550 when set at 1400
Everyone looks really good rip! ;-)
thanks man this is by far the best the shed has looked
Nice work man, the screen looks like it filled out very nicely.
yeah dude Im pretty happy with everything at the moment. Especially after last rounds probs.

I migt just take it off all together and let them be. Thanks for the tips. If Im not successful this time Ill try one of those out.

I know I just updated but tonight I twisted and tucked more than ever before. also I spread out and tucked most of the pk cause it was really reaching for the light, and I thought that they would get too close by the time they were done. Once I got started tucking and weaving, I was soooohigh and just didnt want to stop. I really ended with a nicely evened out canopy and the pk spread out well to allow more light to the lower budsites. I did leave just one branch in the back standing tall and not tucked. I think im gonna support him with a stick soon.
Clones are looking better than ever before with the humidifier in there. usually there are a bunch looking wilted and not so good, but this time they all look healthy and standing up straight.

Damn man, that canopy looks great. You really are a quick learner man. very very nice work. Oh and I think you should re-phrase this quote to HER. ;) "I think im gonna support him with a stick soon."
