I have the same rack, has 5 racks right? It actually fell this time, but I had a lot on it at the time, maybe 2 pounds almost dry and 8 pnds wet of wet bud and the velcro came apart...down it came mixing all my different buds together ( 3 strains) It took a good hour to get it all right and I would bet there is some Blue Dream in the Pk or OCD in the Blue Dream lol.
I am looking forward to see how they look done :)

Mine has six levels. I can tell already that the pk shouldve went longer. It just isnt keeping the purple as it dries. It looks great but not up to the level It could have.(I also know how great it can look after watching so many of your grows) Not disappionted but always looking to do better. Btw how many weeks do you feel is best for the pk to get that bright purple you get? Also what temp and humidity do you dry at?

I think your trippin man. lol It looks purple to me. I agree with notorious, it is the real deal though, SR71 PK. It has alway been right at 56 days, but I have let it go to 60 too. I don't find any difference in the few extra days. It is a 8 week strain exactly IMO. Since I have added the CO2, I have actually shaved a couple days off of that. I do think the purpling has a lot to do with the reservior temps. Last round mine had just a hint of purple to them, but that was before I got my res chillers and keep the res temps at 68 deg. I used to mix my res and feed immiediatley when I hand watered, so the water temps were always cold ( 68-70deg). I think the water temps have a lot to do with the coloring. I have also heard if you drop the room temps way down during the lights out for the last couple of weeks they will color up, but I have never had room temps under 74 deg. I have even heard of people throwing wet trimmed buds in the freezer for a couple hours to color them up, but I would never do that one myself. It just sounds dumb. lol I do think the lower room temps would work though, I have heard it from many experienced growers. I have been asked many times if I drop room my temps way down to get my buds purple, but I haven't. There is also a product that Boomer used that is supposed to make them purple. Sorry I can't remember the name.

Anyway man, I think you did a great job. So I would be proud of that bomber bud you just grew. How did the GC turn out?

I chose the half rated life because it corresponds to 90% lumen output of orig. So it's really a balance of how much money u wanna waste because the power draw is the same and your getting less lumens. Honestly, in a larger scale I would run them their usable life which it drops down to 80% lumens. The way we roll with 2 -3 bulbs at most, 90% seems to make sense to me. with 7 or so grows per bulb (more on pure hps, like 10) you can't complain for $10-15 a grow for bulb expense lol

I think I made it sound worse than I really meant. Im stoked man. The whole crop is kill. Smells great, looks great, and soon to find out how it tastes. The Gc is kinda losingsome smell as it dries, but it still smells awsome if I pick it up and handle it a little. The pk is just as great smelling as when it was chopped.

Ya know I never did the math when you last posted. That sounds very reasonable now that you put it that way.

Hey man, that smell will come back once they are in jars for a couple days. The pk is so strong it can be smell through jars sometimes. How is the smoke?

Smoke right now is about a 7 out of ten. Taste is pretty good but defenitely needs the jar time. Hits a little harsh. Both are super stoney, couch relaxing type buds. Tell ya more in a bit after cure.

Mmmmm pk :weed:

whatre you smoking it through?
Good old fashioned zig zags brother. nothing tastes better! Only thing Ive found better is the first bowl in a brand new glass piece (bong, pipe, bubbler etc..), and mine are used and abused Haha. Just actually took a few rips on the old faithful glass pipe when I got home from work at 7:00 am(I was too lazy to roll one after working last night). Nothin like gc in the morning before bed.

P.S. the pain relieving qualities of the gc may be the best ive experienced.

So I ended up with just a little over an elbow and a half. This round Im shooting for 2. Lets see what happens. Heres a shot of the two strains dried.

In between rounds we did the bleach wash down as usual and scrubbed all the trays and pumps along with giving everything a two day soak to get rid of all salt build up. During the last round I noticed the rolling casters on my tray stand were eating away at the plywood floor of my shed. I decided that Id like to put down a pergo laminated floor. Its waterproof and tough, and Will aslo look nice for the hrs upon hrs Im in there. I went down to lowes and the clerk hooked me up with a bunch of older open boxes that he sold for 5 bucks each. So for a total that would have been $160 I paid $20. Sweeeet deal! And here she is looking new and beautiful.

All 17 of my vegged out girls are now in their new home for the duration of their short 8 week life. They are about 15 inches tall and are flipped to flower as of last night. Last round the green crack was all over the place so Ill be doing a lot of thinning and training for the next 3 weeks. I dont have my screen down over them yet. Probably this weekend sometime.

Last time I had trouble keeping my veg box cool enough so Ill be running slightly cooler temps in the shed probably around 72 degrees. I hope this wont be too cool for the flowering girls. I think theyll be ok. They are a little taller than I wouldve liked this time. Hopefully I can keep them under control.

Good to hear, what changes can you attribute that too?
I think that genetics for the first and foremost made the biggest difference. Then I just feel that throughout the grow things just went smoother for them this time. I did however still have one mishap with a nuteburn so the next run should do even better.

Thanks hulk,Im tryin to have just one week between flower cycles. I have to dry in the shed also so during that time I get everything cleaned and ready to go again. With the help of my beautiful wife of course.

Got to love a good wife that helps with the change over. That is the most work of all of it for me. My wife scubs the trays, walls, and floors while I deal with the pumps, chillers, etc. Ofcourse she cleans in the nude too lol.
The buds look great quick. It looks like you got some top shelf smoke for sure. Doesn't it feel good when your not dealing with pests or mildew? IMO the most important thing is to stay pro-active and preventative. Great work man, I think I just repped you, but you have some more comming when I can.
Oh and I love the no down time. You are definatley getting this shit down now.

Very nice, thats my problem no dry area. I just keep jumping around different spots different ways until i can think of a permenit location for it, might even just break down and get a tent that i can use for just drying when the time comes.

Lucky man to have a wife thats into the grow and helping out.
