Yeah pretty impossible to pick the best, all of them are real unique dank. I am personally leaning towards #2. #1 is the most bubba dom. #3 smells incredible. #4 is a beast and will yield the best. Am i crazy or do these look like they are going to be done before 56 days? I was planning on 70, but looks like ill be flushing in acouple weeks...
 
Hmm think some of my posts where lost in this thread... anyway, i pulled the ripped bubbas at 60 days, and started sampling heavy last week. I gave lots of samples out to fellow med patient friends and will get smoke reports back soon. For now heres a quick rundown of my impressions... #1 had a nice fruity taste like spacequeen, however nobody can catch a buzz from it. #2 is incredible, mocha candy flavor and aroma, creeper buzz that is long lasting, relaxing, takes the knee pain away. #3 is probably my favorite, sharp lemon flavor and the stank is extreme. Hits fast, heady for awhile but the bubba kicks in eventually and will put you to sleep. #4 was a beast and easily yielded double the other phenos. Lemon jasmine aroma, flavor is all pine. High is balanced, not too potent though... so in my overall opinion 2 and 3 where great, 1 and 4 where a waste of space. It would be nice to see this line worked a bit before putting a price tag on it..
 
Working means watering down IMO, my theory on the whole thing is selection from the lines we create and as long as people are finding keepers in a pack I think thats better than I see is much of the so called worked gear just my thoughts.
I really enjoyed watching your grow and I agree the lemon Bubba 50/50 pheno is also my favorite.

Hell yeah sub. Someone was complaining about why breeders don't make IBLs out of every strain and it sucks how you have to buy several packs to find a good keeper... I mentioned to him that in TGA packs most people find a keeper in 10 and many in 5. I'm definitely happy with mine hoping to harvest 4+oz off my first apollo (crossing fingers). As long as I find a good pheno in each pack I'm a happy camper :) My first apollo looks just like your typical pics
 
Thanks sub, i really enjoyed growing them! Its tough because these where free, and im obviously a tga fan, but if i would have spent 100 bucks I'd be dissapointed. My thoughts are working the line a bit doesnt have to mean watered down ibl. A properly selected male rb crossed back to bubba would have been worth the time. I grow mostly from seed and very often its tga, so i am used to seeing the hybrid vigour and variety. Thats what i like, but never have i come across a plant that has no effect, and out of 20+ tga packs i still havent come across a female that i would keep for more than a few runs. Perhaps my expectations where too high since i love jtr and bubba so much.

Gonzo - I'm curious about the pheno that "had no effect". Don't take this question as an insult, because I don't know you or your experience. Have you smoked much high CBD gear? I know Bubba can run high in CBD, and JTR can run high in THCV, both of which suppress the effects of THC. The "no effect" you are getting could actually have strong medical benefit. Just a thought. It might be worth having that pheno tested before trashing it.

Oh no, thank you for all that you do for the community! I feel like i came across harsher than i meant too. Vortex and time wreck i would run more than a few times. If seeds werent available i would never let those go so i was wrong when i said that. Very spoiled with dank due to where i live, yet theres a good reason i choose tga seeds over the same old generic cuts. There will be many more tga strains in my garden, just cant afford the attitude seedbank anymore. This was also the first time i didnt do a trial run in small pots, so the phenos i didnt like set me back a little, all good, i learned a bit more, and im glad you didnt take offense to my opinions. When i reread my posts i come across like an asshole often, which is not my intention, but if im going to take the time to chat cannabis online im going to be honest otherwise whats the point

Hey med, great question! Thats what i like to see. I had a discussion with a buddy about this very subject. The only high cbd strain i have had is hero and bubba. Those knock me down, very strong effects. I wanted to get all these phenos tested, but i dont know where to go in my area for that. I would love to see 100+ of these ladies to compare, theyres so much potential with bubba and jtr. I had the same feedback from everyone that sampled her. Great flavor though, a friend has been smokin j's of it trying to cut back on tobacco so not a total waste. Im going to start looking into opening up a testing center/medixating lounge in the portland area..
 
The reason I asked is because my first experience with a CBD dominant strain I had the same reaction. I thought, "This shit sucks, I didn't even catch a buzz." Then I continued sampling it and realized I was getting a nice blissful calming effect, just not getting high in the traditional sense. Now I've selected a male from the strain (Otto from a now defunct seed company in Colorado called Centennial Seeds) and am planning to cross it with my favorite strains, Pandora's Box and Kali Mist, to give them a little more of that bliss.
 
The Bubba Kush I have had has been pretty stoney. I definitely did not have a 'don't get high' effect from it and I don't typically smoke high cbd strains either. Unless their stabilized, genetics are a crap shoot. I think he just had two unlucky phenos that didn't have the kick he's looking for. Sometimes it happens in a pack.
 
Bubba does not get me High and I have to smoke a great deal more than of something like Vortex.
It is my number 1 nausea killer though before RB and Qush so that is the point.
I cant wait to get more test run on these were just waiting for the proper cure to be honest I am tired of seeing THV-a so high.

Ill stash some away and try it again in a few months. I need the relaxing stuff at night. Prefer space travel for the day. I always thought high cbd meant more hemp dominance. Have to do some research now.. the trim was phenominal, im making tincture, and bubble so perhaps thats where #1 will shine. Good luck with your breeding, sounds like some interestings things in the works!

Now I'm just doin vortex, jilly, agentorange, and hashberry. ........... you said you were going to cover shanti's expensive packs next--- please do a jack herrer I want to know if paying $235 USD is worth it!

8 out of 10 sprouted and where vegged under cfl's for 2 weeks, then a 400 watt hps for 2 weeks. In #1 smart pots, sog gonzo style. They are getting the flip today under 600 watts, I'll try to update pics weekly.

hay gonzo i was talking to a freind and i like to smoke pot cause it tastes good not not to get stoned tired so i am hopeing i find one like number 4 i grow for my self only so i dont care what other peps think oh wife quit the nasty marbs mabea littel #4 for here also nice thread boy the lemon sounds good to me also peace bro
