Cast my vote for Far Beyond Driven. I'm not as big a Pantera fan as I was 10-15 years ago, but that's still a damn good album.

Vinnie and Dime were some of the nicest people I ever met. I met Dime bag and Vinny and the rest of the band at the cherry hill, NJ tower records [now debunked] . They were doing a signing at the time for Far Beyond Driven. That album has one of my favorite Pantera Songs on there. they talk about stealing one of their friends prescription meds, blazing out on some weed and getting drunk as fuck, and fucking their friends girlfriends.
Anyway, one of the most frustrating videos to ever watch , is to see that demon creep, Nathan Gales, run across the stage and shoot Dimebag in the back of the head 5 times. When u watch it it’s hard to believe someone couldn’t have tackled that son of a bitch.... anyway just another reason why life sucks. hopefully the 2 bro’s are jammin together with all the other great ones who have passed.

The last great metal band to change metal forever before that rotten grunge music came around.

I thought VDOP was the shit until FBD came out. Shedding skin is my favorite song by them. Hell Yeah (Vinnies other band) was pretty good too.
