Nice thread... forgot what i even wrote on here lol...

Anyone speak with cpa since its very close to tax time and can shed some light into the income from disp and taxs being filled.
Yea I'm interested in how the whole tax thing is going to work out..very risky having all your transactions on paper and admitting to the Feds you sell herb.

Hey how's waking up in the morning been? Hahaha
Probably been good for him/slater.there seems to be no shortage of patients with things so busy u have to take a number like your in a stop and shop deli.there stock has increased so there probably paying more who knows.even though there sky high on prices they don't seem to have any issues moving product...at least that what it seems.

I find it ironic that Rhode Island put in place a system that is very personal. Caregivers and patients helping one another, finding strains that work with their specific needs. Do you think slater will go above and beyond to make sure that their patients have the specific meds they want? Do you think they will say oh we only have a little bit of this left but I know Johnny needs this so let's hold it for him. I don't think so. When patients have no money but are in serious pain, do you think slater will front them?? I put 14 grams of oil in 27 cookies for my patients at Christmas, they were breaking them up in quarters they were so powerful, you think slater would do that? Patients are assigned a number like the deli?? I have seen posts on craigslist were people are trying to sell those stupid little jars because they had so many. Patients that have no money and pay more than what you could get in the black market, which its better to begin with. All there whack ass blueberry crosses, shit probably tastes like grass. Patients are getting over dried meds, full of leaves and stems on strains that blow to begin with. They will never have top shelf, they will never break any records and will continue to delete bad comments on their Facebook page so they don't look bad. For a company that invested millions, growers in Cali have better outdoor. I can guarantee that Sfv you all bought for 250 does not test at what is advertised, what's worse is that you could be smoking pesticides from other meds they have and not even know it. As soon as there is a cannabis cup here in ri you all will see they don't win shit, they don't have shit and never will.

whats even funnier is that all of us that sold to slater in the beginning had much better meds and they paid us a lot less than what they do now. Criminal is the only way to describe them

I know what your saying.but there's a lot of patients that don't have a "good" caregiver.its also a huge risk having to pay 200$ on some shady character promising the world but in reality he just wants to increase plant count.i have issues with slater but there's tons of patients it's helping..I'm a patient and from what I've seen in the few yrs I've been in the program is 95% of caregivers are in it for the money and riding the system.in fact I have yet to meet a caregiver that is truly 100% passionate and is in it strictly for the love of the medicine and not financially driven.
remember without patients you caregivers would not exist.

All you have to do or any patients for that matter is go on craigslist and you will see hollywood, cannabinoids for less ect.. Those guys are the real deal. Every bag is points over, the medicine is professionally hand trimmed, not a single leaf or stem. Not one pesticide spray was used. Vacuum sealed for freshness couldn't ask for more. Come April May, Strains this state hasn't even experienced yet will be unleashed. Sour dawg from Jjnyc is fucking incredible straight celebrity fire jaw hits the floor shit melting in your mouth, wicked purple fucking Dank , sour d x girls scout cookie forum cut, say what!! Aj sour x forum cookies can I get a sour cookies? What about motorbreath from Pisces? Boom many many more.

10 mg doses wtf?? You guys actually buy edibles there? At least slaters 10x will get you a buzz at 140mg which is under one dose for me. 360 dollar ounces?? You guys have money to blow

Edibles r a joke at both places.super mega low dose.i ate 8 pcs of candy from slater 1 after another and only got a buzz.shouldnt have to spend 40 bucks for a mellow buzz.especially when I make cookies from trim and popcorn and 1 cookie will plaster you for 4 hrs...
last time I checked green leaf there ounces started at 230 up to 300+.most were about 250-260.i haven't checked in a week or 2 maybe prices went up for some reason.they seemed way better priced than slater.slater rarely sells ounces now guess they would rather nickel and dime patients.

Ya 250 mg would set me right. That's 25 times greenleafs doses. Thanks for the honesty. All the low end strains like recon ect are laughable. Really thseeds? I heard cataract and platinum banana are decent. Anybody know where slaters grows are. They never have anything of theirs. I hope they keep growing hollywood haze. I see people blasting oil cause they can't sell their bud.

We have a word for those folks where I come from, drug dealers. They are not helping anyone just like drug dealers, they charge 17$ a gram like drug dealers, they just own a store and drug dealers got a couch.

lmao, god wait till its legal and theres no cardholders... all this picky-ness will be gone and everyone take whats offered. you wont see an ounce sold for under 300 anywhere cause taxes and such. people complain now about cardholders when all its doing is giving you a million options as a patient.

weed will be a buiseness when its legal, not compassionate... until its federally legal and they can ship in from everywhere you will get whats avail. which will be strains which grow well outdoors and heavy yielding, mostly indica short flowering times... buisness cost start up fund and then taxed from the get go. making the inital investors happy will be main priority since having customer base will be no issue to them. its wont come down to 'your situation' it will be the 'communities' situation.

patients right now have access to unlimited meds/multiple multiple strains and all at bottom dollar since the state is flooded with awesome meds... people should be patient and vote for amended laws that actually make since and are reasonable according to the public. not just the currupt states pockets.

Ricky said it. Like usual.

Federal is the only way to legalize. And it will be all about money when it happens there too. States like ours so deep in debt are looking for an easy out.. Medical isn't making them enough money... pretty sure I read last year the state only , made 170k from medical marijuana related revenue.
Projecting 27 million in the first year legal?! You all know you arent going to be paying any less for worse quality than is out there now... people WILL be buying off the streets for higher prices than they're offered now, just to stay away from the states new garbage commercial bud.

You cant get the quality when you are growing for quantity and cash alone.

It's all going down hill from here... hope all the non medical growers enjoy their legal one veg and one flower limits. I'll keep doing what I'm doing no matter what the end result may be for this new bill.

Consider yourselves lucky. In Colorado medical growers are not allowed to sell to anyone.

Our dispensaries wholesale between each other for $2000/lb.

I wish I could walk in to a dispensary and legally dump surplus meds for $2000/lb. Income taxes or not. It's legal there so he happy.
