does anyone no anything about ice or skunk haze are they worth my time also whats that smell a new ballast makes thanks for any help ill hook u up wit some +rep

i think most strains are worth the time if grown right. i dont know anything about a new ballast smell. mine just smells like hot copper..

the skunk haze is the shit.
as for the smell, i have no idea.
i never got a smell. might be the heat reacting with something nearby.

I had my ballast on some plastic and it was the smell of plastic melting. Ice is dank and skunk is a basic indoor, haze is also pretty generic.

thank for all that but ive got two ballast now that ive ordered new and they bolth put off some fucked up smell the first couple days of use

the smell is just the heat of the light reacting to dust and other things from sitting around for abit. nothing to worry about.
as for yield i remember a friend of mine telling me he got 1 1/2 oz off of the ice in dirt from seed, and almost a oz from the clone.

I know that after i used my hps after being put away for a while, it had accumulated some dust on the bulb that was barely visible. It smelled really bad and i had to clean it with a damp microfiber cloth

a good friend of mine is growing ice... he got 3 clones from the same mother... and they are all thriving...
he is vegging them under a `400 watt hps... which gave them really really strong branches... IMpossible to bend ... it is a very very bushy plant... the internodes are tight.... and it doesnt stretch much at all... infact they look a little too bushy in my opinion hehe but its the guys very very first grow... lucky he is surounded with experienced growers but he hasnt needed anyones help yet .. just with the supper cropping...
so Ice.... WHY NOT!!!! if i had a few clones i would grow em out.. and see what happens..!!!
