Reflector question:

I have 3 430 HPSs. Hydrofarm: air-cooled with lens. I want to sh&tcan the ballasts and go to 600s...I know I have to purchase the new ballasts and bulbs...but can I salvage/convert the reflectors, sockets, cords etc??

My 12/12 room is about 6'x6'. Do you think this even makes sense or should I go with 4 430s?

I have the Hydrofarms...or Aquafarms...whatever, anyway, Hydro.

MMJ, so I plan to harvest 3 plants per month. I have a 400 MH that I will veg 3 clones/plants for 4 weeks, then move them into 12/12. I will repeat this until I am harvesting the 3 per month.

Not a noob, I have had too many grows of too many sizes to mention, indoors and out...but that was quite some time ago.

Your input and hospitality will be more than appreciated....and ultimately returned.

You can reuse all except the ballast and bulb. why not just sell it to someone and buy the kaboodle too. VV

Do you think the 600s are wayyy superior (for my room) to the 430s?

You might not notice such a small jump. A. B Fucd runs a harvest every 2 weeks out of a 12'-12' and swears by 1000s

I'd like to see that system....does he get that perpetual harvest (every 2 weeks) using only that 12'x12' space? I mean clones, veg, flower and dry?

We use to use the 1000s way back when the parabolic hoods were state of the art, lol. Had more room then and heat, even with proper ventilation, concerns me. We average an ambient exterior temp of around 80f.
