Red Wasp

Hey guys.
Anyone have experience dealing with that damn red wasp that loves the same places we do?

Im talking 1' wide nest! Hit that son of a gun at night with your head when all you can see is black past about 6 inches and you are screwed.

This is the bogey man that most scares me in the woods at night.

shoot the nest with a shot gun and RUN. or get some bug spray and spray the hell out of it and run. either way.

I'm not so sure this will be as effective when spraying 1ft. nests, but I'd try it. Hope this helps : )

starting fluid works good too it freezes them within seconds *I've never tried this, I just heard about it.

Is there anyone who has dealt with them in field.

There is no run like hell where I am talking about. If i know where they are i will stay clear.
The thing is you cant see them at night some times, and they will eat your ass up. (even at night)
You better have a big f#%$ing water gun.

you should fill the supersoaker with gasoline. spray the shit out of the nest and light that and RUN!

I was gonna recommend fire, but then I realized what Smokey the Bear always says "Only YOU can prevent forest fires" lol

I started just easing a can with some gas in it as close as underneath as possible, and walk away. The fumes will do the work.

no need to light it... they suffocate bc of the gas fumes... problem solved... just dont do it while smoking

antifreeze those sons of bitches. fill a water balloon and toss it at em or put a garbage bag over em real quick and give em to an enemy throw it in their window
