Done deal, I was going to cheap out on a T6, I’m going to go ahead and get one. Thanks bro great to hear it’s exactly what Renfro was saying. About to double output and ain’t no way I’m hand trimming all of that lol
Takes some dialing in, but once you get it, it’s awesome.

Guy at my local hydro store and I got to talking and he tried to sell me this unit (green bros 215) used. I wish I had shown more interest and at least asked how much. He wasn't an employee just a customer. We gotta do something, I've surpassed the amount the wife can trim. I paid for one person to help last round but that adds up and still takes forever. I have trust issues and also just generally don't like many people. So finding trimmers is hard for me. Which kinda makes a road block in my plan to keep expanding after rooms are automated. So I have finally given into the idea of a machine trimmer.

Wife has promised to still hand trim what I'm keeping for myself, lol.

Im in the same boat as you dude. Hand trimming was taking me and a team close to two weeks...fuck that. Ive luckily found a place by here thay rents to twister t4(only 300 a day no deposit). So far been hand trimming tops and running popcorns. I know it messes up the trichs but the more important thibg is it frees up time so i can keep my grow cycle going. Cause now im doing 35+ pounds in a day, 2 days max.

I would disclose however, that the GB 215 is not the fastest at trimming like a T4, but it is much more gentle on the buds. A full load takes about 30 min to run, and then as they come out of the chute, we have a few peeps at the table doing final trim. Some buds need nothing, and others need crows feet removed, or a tiny leaf than the blades just can’t get to. I’d say that if your buds are dried in the zone (~9% moisture content), you’ll be good. Anything over that, and it just doesn’t do as good a job. You DO have to clean it every run, but it only takes about 10 min to do. We have 2 units, so as one is running, I’ll be cleaning the other. Just get a box of 100 razor blades, and a spray bottle of 99% alcohol, and use only micro fiber cloth. Paper towels will get hung up in the blade slots and make a mess. But if you have your product dried right, I’d say it does 75-85% of the work.

Yea I work in commercial industry in Humboldt county. The only time I have seen companies use trimmers is when it's the last of the bullshit buds left on plant just being processed into clear distillate.

You don't sit and help trim?

I do, but not that often and not enough to even make a dent. Even when I do I get such a small amount done to what she does it's comical. I get kinda lost on each bud trying to fine tune every little leaf, I'll break the habit for a few mins but then I'm stuck again. I probably smoke too much.

It's always been I take care of the garden she trims, but it's got to the point where the amount of trimming is just way too much for one person(even if she does trim 2lbs a day). Also I have been working on getting my second flower room finished so that's been eating a good amount of my time. I've gotten all the wiring done except for hooking to the panel, I still need to patch any light leaks I've made running wire and hang my exhaust fan/filter. I've got a few things left to do. I love the feeling of being in a legal state but this move and build out has taken a lot more time, energy, and money than I was planning. Expenses and finishing this build out has made it a struggle to stay ahead, but I feel like I'm finally on the home stretch. Still in the struggle atm and it's taking its toll mentally but I know it will all be worth it when done. We started with a building that had no insulation, electric, or water. The only thing I paid anyone to do was the spray foam insulation and a couple laborers to help me dig the water line, which we did by hand to 4 ft deep, 3 of us did 150 ft in 2 days.

Sorry for the rant guess just had to vent somewhere.
