Ready for harvest?

Nobody can tell by just looking at some close ups of a few trichomes. Need to see the entire plant or at least a few of the buds. Plants can and do have amber trichomes well before the plant is ready. Amber trichomes are just one measurement used to determine if a plant is done. Also, where you check the trichomes matters as well. You don't need a microscope to determine if the plant is ready. I don't even bother looking at trichomes because I can tell from the look of the flowers whether or not the plant is ready. Too many people are chopping early because all they have heard is amber trichomes means chop chop chop. I've seen photo's recently of harvested bud that obviously was chopped weeks too soon and covered in white pistils because a new grower read about amber trichomes, saw a few, couldn't wait, and harvested early.

Make sure when your taking pictures of trichomes your not taking them off the sugar leaves. Those always go amber first. Take pics right off the calyx for accurate trichome pics. Bud looks good but this is the hardest part at the end of 3-4 months is being patient.

10-14 days there's a lot of white pistols still once those curl up and go dark then your trichomes will be showing lots of amber and then they are ready

My trichs looked like this:
Fri Jan 24 21-00-55.jpgMicroShot.jpgAmber.jpg
And I was told by some people that this looked close to ideal for a high THC, low couchlock ripeness. The high is very nice, but it's an autoflower, so it's not one-hit wonder levels of THC.
Other people like their bananas a little spotty, more stoned than high if you follow me. In that case, wait for those milky white buds to start turning amber.

this is a bag seed so i have no clue what strain this i heard there is no way to tell strains by pictures so
No there isn’t. Ive got three grapefruit and 3 ak47 and they don’t look the same. Each strain will have varieties within itself. Something to do with genomes i think

Me too and it is a pain to get a clear picture. It’s supposed to work with an android or Apple device but I can only get it to work on the laptop so I have to bring the whole damn thing to take pics

I use the Orb and usually just cut a piece of calyx off and view it on a white paper plate. Same deal, only works with a laptop but it gets nice shots if you can steady the camera. OGK Trichs2_9-17-19.jpg

Phenotypical expression of the genome. It's how brothers and sisters have similar traits but only identical twins are close to exactly the same and even they have some differences if you looks close enough.
