Ready for harvest?

I think if you harvest now it's gonna be really heady not much body. Another two weeks and it would be a lot more body. It's up to you but the cloudiness says it's technically mature for harvest. I'm still seeing a lot of clear though.

Everything i see is pretty much clear with maybe just the slightest hints of cloudy heads on some.
probably a month+ away if it was in my tent.

Time is money. If I knew the people buying my weed weren't going to notice the difference and I wasn't gonna smoke any of it myself then yeah I'd chop it. Waiting at least 2 weeks is gonna make better product though. Could mean the difference between a one time purchase and repeat business.

Trichomes are important but you also want to wait for the pistils to turn red/brown and recede back into the buds. You'll see the calyxes swell and you may even notice colas leaning due to the added weight. It helps to add some photos of the overall plants for more opinions too.

IMO this would be more if youre concerned about the appearance of your buds. Something like a dispensary grow would do. Usually its a "it looks great right now and trichomes are good enough, lets chop it"
I get much better effects from my home grown bud than from dispensary bud because I wait those extra few weeks to get mostly amber trichomes. I only look at plant appearance to see if its time to bust out the scope and get a closer look. I get a much better body effect and pain relief than any of the medical shit ive bought.

@fragileassassin , I agree completely.
I barely know what I’m doing as a grower, and my flower delivers a flavor and stone unmatched by lab grown/store bought. And it’s not my imagination- I burned one with a young coworker last Saturday. After, we went our separate ways.
Today I asked what he thought.
He shook his head, dropped his jaw and whispered “damn good”

Moisture content of the finished cure is an important factor. Store bought weed is often dry as dust when you go to break it up. Some people call that not worth smoking. I’m not among them. THCA remains even if it’s over dried. But it’s harsher and flavorless by comparison to a proper cure.

You can re moisturize overly dry weed, but you’ve lost some terp flavor that cannot be restored. If you must remoisturize flower, and don’t have a freshly picked bud to toss in the bag, a sprig of basil works nicely.

Only slightly off topic, and related enough that I thought it merited mentioning. Hope I didn’t bore anyone
