I have tried cloning 3 ways using a DIY ezcloner (my favorite), a experimental ultrasonic fogger, and straight to 70%coco/30%perlite sitting on capillary matting
strain bubba x master kush
I take around 8 - 10 cutting per week with no ill effect to mother
100% with the ezcloner usually see callus formation in 5 day, 1/4 roots in 6, strong root ball in 7
olivias cloning gel, power clone in the water and no wilt spray once after cutting (I have also been experimenting with hydro germination beneficial bacteria and fungus from fungi perfecti I havent seen any negative effects yet except sometimes plugging the ezclone jets but not sure if there are any benefits at this stageit sure works on seeds and established roots, anyone try this with cuttings?)
very informative thanks for the post.
with the ultrasonic fogger I saw callus formation on some cutting within 3-4 days and strong roots in 5-6 problem with it was uneven mist distribution and water heating up causing some death and some plants not rooting for over a week ( I think that there is potential there but I know longer have the time to keep experimenting with it)
coco/perlite callus development in 6-7 days and roots sticking out of 3" coco pots in 10 days, so far I have done very little this way but have had 100% success and since I transplant to 3" coco pots this does save me the step of transplanting and I am thinking of trying to do more this way using capillary matting and drip irrigation.
by the way anyone use APS from dutch master as a cloning foliar spray, they claim that it gives vegatative growth during root formation, I am a fan of dutch master products but havent got around to buying any.
