I will share, however, why no one, your derpy self include, should believe your numbers.

According to Michael Rand, a senior BJS statistician who oversaw the study, you and the Council of Conservative Citizens is citing, your interpretation of the data, is "incorrect."

The BJS study is not a tally of every single violent crime committed but, rather, an estimate based on a nationwide household survey. The study makes clear that its estimates for the overall number of blacks who were raped and for the number of whites who were raped by blacks are both based on interviews with 10 or fewer respondents. Rand explains that these small sample sizes -- which result from the fact that blacks make up less than 13 percent of the overall population and from the fact that rape is a relatively infrequent crime -- prevent the BJS from accurately calculating margins of error. According to Rand, the figures cited by you "are not reliable as exact point estimates of the actual levels of such crime." In other words, there could have been far fewer or far more black-on-white rapes.

Similarly, there may have actually been a substantial number of white-on-black rapes. "The survey is not capable of providing a measure of such crimes," explains Rand. "For demographic groups that make up a fraction of the population the measurement issues become greater, and would require substantial oversampling in order to obtain reliable estimates."

Your use of the data is extremely misleading for another reason. Take the year 2007 as an example. Even if the 14,000 figure is accurate, that would mean that only 7.6 percent of rapes against white victims were perpetrated by black offenders. What you are leaving out is that according the BJS study, fully 75.5 percent of rapes against whites are perpetrated by whites -- a fact that seems to undermine point you are attempting to make.

You need a survey from Rand to tell you that white men don't rape black women?
How come that can't be measured, but then you point out the study concludes that black men do in fact rape white women. Stating that something can't be sampled is just another way of saying it doesn't happen

While almost all of the facts of the U.Va. story were determined to be lies, the central premise of the piece remained, for Columbia and the many journalists analyzing the story's fallout, unexamined and apparently sound: College campuses are predatory environments where all women of a certain age are at high risk (enter dramatic statistics of uncertain provenance repeated by the media). Given such numbers, a significant portion of men on college campuses of a certain age are, it's not unreasonable to conclude, out of control, violent, pathologically misogynistic. It's a war out there.

Yeah, I lived right by the hospital, Mt. Sinai. Where we lived is torn down now. Mt Sinai bought up every piece of property for blocks around and tore it all down. Ryerson steel bought whatever Mt Sinai didn't buy, and they tore it all down too. Between the two of them they took about half the neighborhood, but tearing it down was an improvement, mostly.

There were a few caucasian families in the neighborhood, four that I can remember: polocks, hillbillies, and Italians. The rest were Mexicans, and one Puerto Rican family. We all got along just fine with each other, but there was the idiotic gang banging stuff going on. The Satan's Disciples originated in that neighborhood. Everybody simply said 18th and California, but that was just shorthand for the neighborhood bounded by Ogden avenue on the north, Talman on the east, California on the west, and the railroad tracks on the south. SD expanded to the east and had branches around Homan. Back then, there were a few white guys in the gang, but mostly Mexicans.

I am glad I escaped.

There were some minor gangs besides SD back in my day. The Latin Kings was a major gang back then, and still are, I guess. Their neighborhood was around Harrison High school, 24th and California. Harrison is where Walt Disney went to high school, at least that was the urban legend. I never checked it out. Harrison is no longer a school, I think. Not sure what it is now.

I don't live in Texas, but I could. I like Texas pretty well. Chicago does have a lot going for it, though. I went back last fall to visit friends. They all live in the far south suburbs now.

Not Arizona either, but I know a bunch of previously frozen Chicago citizens now living in Phoenix. You couldn't pay me enough to live in Phoenix. I could happily live in Tucson, though.

Don't know about Cali. My experience with gangs was all in Chicago. The neighborhood I grew up in was ruled by the Satan's Disciples, not to be confused with the "Devil's Disciples", which was a large black gang.

This is a pretty foreign concept to western US people, but in Chicago, Mexicans and Wedos actually got along pretty well, at least in my day. Almost all of my friends growing up were Mexicans. I was one of them, basically. I played soccer in Douglas Park with my neighborhood buddies, almost all of them Mexican. It was a poor, immigrant neighborhood. In Cali, it seems there is a lot of animosity between Mexicans and whites.

I think the gang structures, even in Chicago, have separated along ethnic lines now days, though.
