Random question boggling my mind

My mind is boggled and I'm just wondering has anyone ever tried a 24on/24off light cycle ever and if so what were the results. Or would a marijuana plant be way too stressed or some shit to grow with that light cycle?

+rep if ya tried it or have the knowledge of what it'd do cuz I'm going crazy to know lol

Why not 48/48? or 72/72? Serious growers don't incorporate trial and error into their grow plans. My guess is no-one has needed to try it because plant scientists already know it makes no sense.

it would prob make the plant stretch searching for light.....im not 100% though.....peace
