Quieting An Inline Fan

I bought 6" ducting and a 250cfm 6" inline fan for my brand new Easy Cool 6.

The ducting goes out through a hole in my closet to a crawlspace, where the fan sits at the end. Thing is... it may be too loud. This is supposed to be a discrete grow. I think I can hear the fan buzzing away from downstairs below the crawlspace, and from various other places in the house. I won't be able to tell until tomorrow when I can do some better testing without waking up my dad, but here's my question:

Is there any way to make it quieter?

And if someone tells me to unplug it I swear to fucking Jesus I will anhero so hard that you'll all feel so miserable that you'll throw out all your plants and never grow anything ever again.

Fan controller, duct muffler..pics of setup might help too you may be able to build some type of box, or rubberized thing to mount it on

Here's a picture, but it doesn't show the fan. The fan is inside the crawlspace and I just spent half an hour attaching ducting and getting it to squeeze into that hole out through the wall so I don't feel like opening it back up to take a picture of the inside of there. Just imagine a crawlspace with some AC ducting, and lying on top of that some 6" ducting with a fan at the end.

just unplug it, anhero away.....lol u set ur self up for that one...jk

a super cheap way is to isulate the whole entire fan...

undo the 2 ducts from each end, buy a moving box from home depot and cut 2 -6 inch holes on either side of the box, place the fan inside, pull the intake duct thru the hole #1 and connect, do the same with the exhaust duct...fill the box with insulation and close top, u can plus rep me later if u like...
