Quick Question! So I Have a 1000watt Hp, I Wont Use a Gas Generator? Any Ideas?

so im NEED to go buy a generator today, i was wondering what generator would you recommend that'll do the trick to power a 1000watt hps light?! i need to know quick because i dont wont too run my pg&e bill out the roof so i would rather buy a generator any hints or idead are greatly appreciated! thnx!:hump:

yes! my pg&e is usually 150-200 a month and with only 1 1000watt hps running and a carbon filter it jumped too around 680-740 a month!

holy shit! i run 2-600 watters and 2 4x4 t5 banks as well as a/c, a bunch of fans, a dehumidifier and all of my hydro shit and my bill went up $100 a month,

have you factored in the cost of gasoline to run a generator as well as the noise factor. A decent generator (I work construction) will run all day on 5 gallons of gas, I think for 24 hours, you will use 10 gallons. @$3 a gallon, that is $30 a day or, 900 a month.
