quick pest control question

my plants are about 3 weeks old and i have these little white looking lice/mites in my soil. i still have my plants in clear solo cups thats how i saw them. i did a little research about it but couldnt find anything solid so i just went out today and bought "Bonide Garden Dust". i would like to use this in my soil, would this be ok and will it work?

That should be fine......If that doesnt get rid of them. Research DE....diatomatious earth....

the garden dust i purchased you dust lightly on the leaves. its organic and it does the job well. I have gotten rid of lots of mites and other pests with that product
