hi there

my plants have 9 days of there so called 'flowering time' left but they haven't even got buds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now im thinking somets gone seriously wrong - i know it could be loads of reasons but ive covered everything- is it possible for a plant to take 4-5-6-7-8 weeks longer than it should?? im part hydro/pebbles- the uk temp has dropped- could my water be too cold? i have a fishtank heater so im gonna pop that in- im feeding these ladies 24/7 on slow drip- is that tooooo much??

opinions appreciated

thanks:confused:

Day 9 is a little early to be worrying about bud sites developing. It can sometimes take 10+ days to show signs of flowering in some strains. Also you probably will not see actual 'buds' until a few weeks into flowering.

some girls are gonna take about 2 weeks to begin forming buds, my questions are as follows- are they in 12/12 time schedule for lights? is there light leaks and have you just started the 12/12 phase 9 days ago or have you been in 12/12 for 4-5-6-7-8 weeks already? unless it is "autoflowering" it should need a change in schedule to induce flowering.

You said 9 days left, meaning they have already been in flower for 8 weeks? Is that correct? can you upload pictures? any chance you have all males?

they have been on flower, 12/12 for almost 8 weeks- i doubt they are male- suppost to be feminized seeds! they are all easily 5 foot in height but only just starting to form the little white hairs! this time ive used a diffrent nutrient- 'ionic' so (unlike last grow) there is no 'BLOOMBASTIC' like nute to add to it- its suppose to have all the plant needs? ? ?
cant upload pics 2day soz

A light leak during the dark cycle could cause this problem. Do you have the nutrient balance from your fertilizer, would be something like 20-20-20 if the first number (Nitrogen) is higher then the next two (P and K) this would slow down flower start. But I would not think it would slow it down this much. A small light leak and grow style nutrients would though.

Electric space heater? that will make enough 730 nm red light to stop flower. when its on and you see it glowing red that can do it. also a heater? are your lights on during the day and off at night? revers your light schedule, usually you run lights off during the day.
