Quick Autogrower Question

So i have started my second round of autogrowers . My question is should an autogrower be treated like a normal marijuana plant? When it starts to show signs of flowering should i switch my light to 12/12 like usual? I have read a little here and there in the past and remember reading a simple comment that autogrowers simply just want light and it doesnt matter what light cycle you flower it on. I understand it flowers by itself but would one get better results flowering it on a 24/0 period? My first time with autogrowers i let them flower under a 1000watt HPS on 18/6. i was trying to reveg a mother and had no other room/lights for it and i was trying to flower my autogrowers so i tryed to meet them in between with 18/6. Worked fine in my opinion but im sure i could do alot better as always, especially yield wise (they were in small pots, starved them of water pretty often, moving around from light to light, and probably clogged up the root system with nutes).

I am using my 45watt LED panel (its the original 45watt sunshine systems panel, they made a new one with 28watts using the same output, but i still love mine) which u can check out at greners.com, im in need of a yield estimate. I have 8 autogrowers going, one is quite a bit behind then the others so lets say i have 7. What do u think i can yield? i thought about putting a couple outside but dont want to risk it if i can help it.

im hopeing for a quarter off each, even a half quarter off each would be nice, just for some personal smoke and to finally test out this lights flowering ability as this is what i originally purchased it for, autogrowers.

I think you could hit your yield if you had 6 to 8 of those lights and at least some 3 gallon pots.I've grown autos on 24/0 and 20/4. IMO 20/4 is better. I've seen a buddy grow autos under 18/6 and he just pulled a harvest of 1 ounce between 3 plants. But the smoke was still good.

Autos are not dependent on light on/off times for flowering, as you know. So going with 20/4 would be much better as ...the guy above me stated. I've done a few hundred autos and I'm done with them.

Guess i will attempt to put a few outside or flower with my 400watt MH 3200k system. i sold all my other equipment, moved up to my dads for school in september, got bored and moved back for the summer n stayin at the gfs apartment. So i dont exactly have the best grow space right now. I am using her second bedroom, was just going to build a little grow box with computer fans and diy carbon filter and my LED panel. I have a bunch of reg seeds but dont have the time or area to grow them. I figured id use up my last 8 autogrowers and just do a little grow with this LED panel. The only other equipment i have is my 400watt mh with a 7200k veg bulb and a 3200k flower bulb and a 3 foot dome reflector, a little big and would draw attention i think, plus i would need to build a really good grow space wich would cost me some money i dont have at the moment. so hopefully this works out, as i said mayb ill put them outside then.
