What about my house? I'm growing six plants...
dude they can come to your house when ever they want and search if they want without a search warrant
and in state im in if u get stopped by cops for any reason and they look u up and see u r on paper the cops are allowed to search u

and since your charge is drug related they know there is more likely hood u are still doing it so u are one radar already
but they may not ever come to your house just never know

It was a first offense charge for paraphernalia, and my first ever conditional discharge. It's also my first non-traffic offense ever on my record.

Do you think that's even close to a high enough profile that they'd come search my house? I'm not one to take chances but I also don't want to just go ahead and kill my beautiful babies....

most times wont search house but will look around
when i was on it they didnt show up to search just looed around like wanted to see my bed lol
make sure u really live there

just letting u know there is a slight chance
just show up at pos when supposed too and make sure all fees are paid
and just act like u learned your lesson
then they will most likely not ever bother u

well i wasnt trying to scare him just let him know the risk
so he could decide if risk is worth it
I get ya fab....

Just wanted to get across even though maybe a bit stupid or just ballsy that if his shit is done right(hidden,no smell)he should be okay.As i think ya said it's not like a full on inspection more of just a peep around.

And if ya do decide to keep things goin BP be sure to keep things out of sight at all times that pertain to your grow.I know as a stoner with a garden i some times find odd things in odd places.

Lol...now would that make us stupid or ballsy?

Both i guess. But i kinda still got that "fuckem,it's a damn plant, leaves us the hell alone" mentality.Don't think it's goin no where soon either.

Unfortunately there are a lot of prison inmates with that attitude too.

Yes GwN..........i know.

It still isn't right though is it?Locking me up for some plants, because it's against the law.I do see your point clearly 100%.I also feel that without attitudes like this nothing will ever change. Not saying my post is what will make the change but it's kinda how t all starts in a way.....mindset.

Well it's in my closet. If they wanted to look there they'd definitely see it.

you should just stay clean during your probation, let them see you are "drug free" when your p.o. tests you and i'm sure they will have no reason to search your house over paraphernalia....

Just got my letter in the mail. Shitload of fines but it says I'm on a year of "supervisory treatment", which is checked off instead of probation, which is unchecked. What the hell is that?

This might have something to do with it if you live in NJ.

http://www.ibrahimlegal.com/Criminal-Defense-Blog/2011/January/Conditional-Discharge-Available-for-First-Offens.aspx
In obtaining a conditional discharge, you are agreeing to receive supervisory treatment (similar to probation) for a period of up to three years, usually one year, and to pay significant fines adding up to $833.00. In return, the court will suspend further proceedings of the drug charge during the conditional discharge period. The court may also impose other penalties pursuant to a conditional discharge, such as suspension of your driver's license.

As part of the supervisory treatment program, you will be required to meet periodically with your conditional discharge/probation officer and submit to and pass urine tests. If you successfully complete the supervisory treatment program and remain out of trouble for the conditional discharge period, the court will dismiss the drug charge and you will avoid having a conviction. If you fail a drug test or are charged with another offense during the conditional discharge period, the Court will reinstate the proceedings of the original marijuana charge.

why not just use a wizzinator
Yeah of course, I'm not risking getting my ass in jail for violating a conditional discharge... I can wait a year without smoking (and it also means I'll have a very good reason to uber cure most of my yield!)

Yeah, I'll just hold off for a year. And I'm usually a pretty cooperative dude, I never give cops trouble. I don't like our government but it's no reason to take it out on the working class. Cops are just people trying to make a living, too. Though of course there is that percentage that got the job just so they can give people a hard time, but I'd never make that a generalization.

Question - they can just call you and have you come in whenever? How much notice do you get? This will really complicate things because I'm working full time now... I can't just be calling out of work left and right

So, change of plans. They sent me a letter saying I'm getting tested... SEPTEMBER 14TH. So I've been smoking this whole week. And plan to next week. And then nooooothing until after the test. Y'DIG?!
