Question when buying seeds

I have a question about buying seeds.
I purchased some blue mystic seeds online, but i forgot to get the feminized seeds :o does that mean they're going to rip me off and fill the bag with male seeds??
or
Does the sex of the plant depend on how well you take care of it??

feminized seeds you should only get fems, reg seeds will contain both male and female seeds as they come off the plants, its a different process to create only female seeds and there is no real way of telling what they are before you start them.

It's nature and the percentage of fems to males on reg seeds is roughly 50/50, however sometimes they could get more than 50% females and sometimes less, it has been known for the whole pack to be males before.

NO!!!! its in the plants gense to be male of female. fem seeds from what i hear aren't that good. its always a crap shoot with seeds but you can turn a female into a hermie with some kinds of stress, turning on the light durring the night time is one. your better off growing a few plants veg them out cut clones and flower them to see sex!. fem seed have alot of hermies as well as female in the batch so i would rather use reg seeds and be sure that they are male and female and not let a hermie slip by, not to say reg seeds will not have hermies in it but you have a batter chance of one sex in one plant. good luck and dont stress it

What this guy said. Since you accidently got the non feminized, you will have to test your luck and hope your get all females or dispose of the males.

you've also never personally had a hermie out of feminized seeds, just read it somewhere. so now you can spread the word that fem's produce hermies.

oh btw, the first thing most people learn is the difference between males and females, the majority learn pretty quickly about removing males to prevent pollination.

If someone left a male in or was intentially pollenating to produce seed, then you would more than likely find more than 1 or 2 per sack.

if you only have a couple of seeds then the odds are that the pollen came from a hermie.

I bet you've had a good run of females too with your accidental "feminized" seeds

And from what someone that works at a seed bank told me is that FEM seeds are grown on a hermie if that mothers a hermie i would think there is more of a risk hermie is in the genes:spew:

I own a seedbank and i'm telling you otherwise, so where does that leave you now.

you seem to be big on giving out info when you don't have any decent info.

fem seeds are grown on a regular female, not a hermie, the pollen is produce by a female that isn't a hermie, they add colloidal silver to a small part of the plant to produce male pollen sacs without turning the plant hermie.

They don't light stress it or anything that you have said.

Your comments are the least educated I have read today.

Just flower some clones off the plant 100% way to tell sex. and sorry about that baby bicering on your post good luck:leaf:
 
Alright sounds good, this should be interesting because it will be my first grow lol.
but I guess it will be a learning experience after all.

Gotta get atleast one under your belt but it doesn't meen you can't come out with some good mothers for the second grow good luck and keep on toking:weed:
 
for what its worth i only use fem seeds and have had 100 percent fem rate, saves lots of wasted time..... good luck

yeah i feel ya man, I was trying to contact the website before they shipped my order but no one has replied to my email yet!! :wall:
