Safety when ordering seeds or LED's

I saw some choose to put the money in an envelope and send it to the seed bank when purchasing seeds. What could be wrong by paying by with your credit/debit card? Does envelope method provide a better stealth option? Is there any authority that monitor your transactions and track the payments that are made so they find out you are buying seeds? What about when receiving the package? Can't them figure out there must be something that has to do with growing cannabis?
Also, someone adviced me not to choose the international tracking option when buying the light panel from the seller but didn't said why and what can happen if i opt for tracking option.
What is your experience about ordering seeds and LED grow panels and what advices can you give about this matter.

If you’re living under prohibition it’s better to send cash of money order…. I actually still do this and live in a legal state lol. Old habits die hard

LEDs are legal they’re just lights you can grow anything with them. With seeds if you’re only buying a couple law enforcement isn’t gonna be watching for that. Possibility they get picked up if international but nothing would happen to you other than losing seeds

Seeds are legal since the 2018 Farm Bill.

if ordering lights from China, international shipping is a joke. You won't get a true location til it gets transferred to a US based delivery company. And when ordering seeds from overseas, I opt for the stealth ppackaging and pray it doesn't have to go thru Chicago... They flag everything! Might be a little exaggeration but true.
