Question About Soil And Other Soil Mixes

Ok here i go... I am growing(or trying to grow, lol) with soil. My first four plants were sprouted and vegged in Scott's Potting Soil. They all looked healthy and continued to move vigorously into vegging. about 4 and a half weeks into my grow i noticed the bottom sets of leaves turning yellow and the tips of most other leaves on all the plants turning yellow. i researched it on here and thought it was Nitrogen Deficiency. I went out bought blood meal and mixed a tiny bit into the soil. Nothing changed for the better at all. Then i read somewhere else on here that any kind of soil with nutes in it is bad for the plant in the seedling stage, thus maybe resulting in turning my leaves yellow. soon after finding this out i switched to MG Organic Soil mixed with MG Perlite and MG Organic Blood Meal... transferred all my plants into this mix and only 1 is still alive, growth has been drastically stunted, but its still alive! ok so this is my question for all you Pro MJ Farmers.. Is there any soil i can use that is completely free of nutes and plantfood? No matter how hard i try or how many times i come up with my own soil mixes theres always something that is releasing nutes to my seedlings. A solution to my problem would be greatly appreciated!:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::bigjoint:

you should of left them alone and just started feeding them. that was your mistake transplanting in MG soil. sorry. when your seedlings or clones are starting to show yellowing leaves and your not over watering thn your right deficience just feed them.gooodluck always go with a soil with no ferts.

i didnt like the Scott's for the simple fact it fed too many nutes to my seedlings from the get go! all my leaves have very slight yellow tips and no matter what i do i cant seem to knock the plant of this discoloring! whatever its already stunted but seems to be kicking right along with further growth inbetween all the nodes! we will see what happens i'll begin a new thread with pics
